[Souji was busy today, dealing with SEES stuff, dealing with friend stuff, holiday stuff, family stuff... everything, really, and he was tired. Tired and more unhappy then he would ever tell anyone. Being the strong one, the leader, took its toll, and each loss was felt sharply and keenly.

Nanako. Yukiko. Teddie. How long would it be until everyone else he cared about left?

So when Souji went to the door and found Minako there, he was a little surprised.]

Hey, what are you doing here?

Hello to you too.

[Minako pushes the bag of snacks into Souji's hands and ducks around him into the apartment. For once, she doesn't give a damn if he's busy. She's not going to give him a chance to come up with some reason for her to not be there.]

You seemed sad. So I came round.

[he blinks, looking down at the food in his hands, before watching her come into the apartment. Well. Okay then. Not what he was expecting at all, but that's fine.]

You... didn't have to do that. [Says as he closes the door, turning around to follow her into the apartment.]

But... thank you, I guess.

[Minako quirks an eyebrow, and flops onto a free seat; perching on the edge and resting her elbows on her knees.]

I'd be a bad friend if I didn't.

[She walks her fingers along the arm of the chair, before elaborating.]

You left a message a little while back; a couple of days after that party for Yosuke-kun. I didn't have enough time to get back to you, but you sounded like something was bothering you. I figured you might need to vent... and eat a lot of junk food.

[A tilt of her head.]

Either way, we haven't just... hung out together in a while. Too long, really.
