Elena had decided to take a mission, any one would have done really so she just picked on that seemed to have an interesting name. She had figured general crowd control was all that would be needed, they would be sent to fight those Kishin things without a partner if that was the only way to defeat them, would they ( ... )

Kerrigan was professional enough to know when someone else with skills was fighting the same fight she was. She didn't need to glance around much to know there was another here who at least knew how to survive in a situation like this. It still would have been easier if she could simply perceive the mind of the other, but apparently things were done manually in this place ( ... )

Elena followed behind the woman easily enough, looking around curiously when they arrived in the dead end hallway. She listened for a moment before letting a serious frown develop on her face.

"What about the people here, the ones we were sent to protect and save? Even if it is as simple as getting them away from those things we should stay here to complete the mission we took on." Being a Turk she was used to the concept of finishing a mission you start or not coming back at all, the whole idea of abandoning it right in the middle didn't sit to well with her.

"Which are you, Meister or Weapon?" She asked, struck by a sudden thought. Stuck in this situation as they were if this woman was the other half of a pair from her they may be able to work for at least the length of this mission.

"The madness wave here is going to drive those innocent people to do rash things," Sarah replied simply. She had already had to get out of the way several times as people started chewing on each other like some kind of deranged zombie-impersonator. "Our lives are worth more, given we are here on a volunteer basis."

This was just another one of those situations where she wished even for five minutes that she had some of her psychic abilities. This situation could have been avoided and if not avoided, at least prevented. Now she was stuck with another guest in a dead-end hallway debating whether to abandon a mission or not.

"A weapon," she said nonchalantly, as if that whole idea didn't matter. She hadn't paired since Mustang, but that was another story. "Kishin Eggs won't be touched by such arbitrary weapons." She tucked her knife away, though she kept the hand pistol out.
