The Maou could feel Kanda moving in the distance. His attention was solely fixated on the Kishin Egg as it moved in to take another swipe at him. He was ready, of course, and was waiting for the beast to move within perfect striking range. It didn't happen though as the chair threw the beast off balance and sent it crashing down to the ground below.

He didn't remain stationary and moved in to swipe his blade up along the creature's abdomen. It wouldn't kill the Kishin Egg, but slow it down. That was the least of their problems, however, as his cat-like eyes caught sight of two other Kishin Eggs running their way.

While he may have been able to handle one, the Maou knew well that he could not handle all three while only in his partial form. Leaping back, his gesture narrowly avoiding the first Kishin Egg's swipes, the Maou landed a few steps in front of Kanda.

With his back still to the Meister, he spoke, "I have accepted you once as the wielder of my Weapon form. While I have not yet determined to whether you're worthy of my power again or not, there is little choice." The Maou's attention never once left the approach of the two other Kishin Eggs. Seeing the first rise up, he spoke in a calm but commanding tone, "If you will offer me your word that you will protect Yuuri as you once did, then I will allow for you to wield his Weapon form again. If you decline, then escape is the only option. Make you choice quickly."

The tone and the choice of Yuuri's words makes Kanda pause, and look at him strangely. "...Who are you, and what have you done with Yuuri?" He doesn't even look up-- but grabs and chucks another chair at another Kishin Eggs. He's going to run out, soon, though. "And obviously I'll protect his sorry ass-- I'm doing that now."

He paid no attention to the odd look he received. Keeping his attention fixated on their opponents, the Maou remained patient while he waited. "He is rests within," the Maou spoke before measuring the weight of Kanda's following words.

"I sense no deception within your words, and so I will allow for you to wield my Weapon form," he spoke moments before he began to shift smoothly into the Maken Morgif.

Alright, this was definitely something Yuuri was going to have to tell him about later, because this was too weird. Sadly, right now was no time for arguments or explanations-- so Kanda reaches out to at the very least catch his not-partner before he hits the ground. The notion of wielding a Weapon makes him just a little bit nervous-- it's a person, not just a sword.

Course, then he got the hilt properly in his hands, and he stopped worrying. He's never really gotten such a sense of sheer power from a weapon before-- even Mugen drew on Kanda's own strength to be strong. That's not to say Kanda could handle this easily right off-- hell, the very proximity of Yuuri's soul right now was downright unnerving. At least, though, it's somebody he trusted relatively well, and could actually get along with.

Regardless? He's going to be improvising this entire fight, because he has no idea what Yuuri can and cannot do.

It had been quite some time since he'd last allowed another to wield him, but despite his reluctance for such a thing, the Maou had been silently observing the growing bond between two and had accepted it. He knew well how much this one meant to Yuuri, and as Kanda took him in hand, his soul wavelength merged and began to harmonize with the Meister's.

The Kishin Eggs didn't remain stationary and charged in towards the pair. All three leapt in to pounce on Kanda so that they could tackle their prey down to the ground and devour his soul.

While the resonance left him strangely disoriented for a moment, Kanda didn't need to think to leap out of the way and get a better stance. He had to think fast-- nothing new. It was a lot like fighting Akuma. Though... with a weapon he wasn't familiar with. But Yuuri is a sword, and if there's one thing he knows, it's bladework. And oddly, as he starts to attack, it's like he already knows how to adjust for such a blade versus his typical katana. Distantly he wonders if this was an effect of synchronizing with a living weapon, or if it's unique to Yuuri, but he can't afford to think on it too long.

One at a time-- if he can just take them out one at a time, that might be for the best.

The first Kishin Egg took the full brunt of Kanda's attack. Howling in outrage, it bleed profusely from the wound before the body seemed to disappear and leave only a hovering soul behind. The remaining two, however, narrowly dodged the incoming attack before re-positioning themselves to strike again.

He wasn't quite as quick to get out of the way this time, and took a nice hit on the shoulder before managing to scramble away. He's never missed Mugen quite so much. It was lighter, and didn't leave this warm weirdness in his very soul. Still, now was not the time to process this, now was the time to dodge any follow up attacks and try to take down a second of the three monsters.

The Maou didn't react when Kanda was struck against the shoulder. Instead the impressive sword began to glow subtly as it absorbed the blood of its first victim. That glow began to edge its way up along Kanda's hand and arm before it began to encase his whole body. What injury was sustained began to heal as the Maou's ability began to mend it while the Meister focused on dealing with the remaining two Kishin Eggs.

The Kishin Eggs in question both struck out towards Kanda. Sharp claws swiped at the Meister's torso and back as they attacked Kanda from either side.

Kanda takes a gamble, then, barely registering the healing on his shoulder, and ducks under the attack, and somersaults out under one of the Kishin Eggs. Creative? Yes. Effective? Also yes. Gets him out unscathed? Not so much-- the uneven rubble on the floor tears at his clothes a bit, knocks his hair loose from its ponytail, and bruises his side. But it does leave him behind one of the two, a perfect vantage point to attack it when its vulnerable.

The two Kishin Eggs were momentarily confused when Kanda rolled out of the way. Pausing to recollect their thoughts, the one still facing the Meister stood up higher to glance over the other, while the second Kishin Egg looked back over its shoulder.

Twisting its body around, the second Kishin Egg growled as it moved to swipe a clawed hand right where Kanda now stood. The first Kishin Egg leapt up and over its partner as it attempted to strike at the Meister from above.
