Since Hisoka didn't have a partner...being that Yuuri had gone off with someone else, Hisoka decided it was time to train. He'd heard about the incident at King of Prussia Mall, and figured that while he couldn't take down a kishin egg by himself, he could...intervene...and take down some people after they ate human souls, but before they turned.

His lips curled in a predatory smile as he surveyed the chaos at the mall. Blood, violence, havoc. He was in his element. To his left, he saw a balding middle aged man, covered in blood, eating what probably used to be a sales clerk. Hisoka walked calmly over to the man, and stretching out an arm, grabbed the man by the throat, lifting the clawing figure off the ground. The creature struggled wildly, scratching desperately at Hisoka's arm as its eyes burned with hatred. Hisoka, ignoring the scratches, smirked and slowly crushed its windpipe.

After a few minutes, he tossed the dead, limp body aside, licking his lips. "One down...many to go," he said playfully to himself, and looked for his ( ... )

Hi! ninetyninesouls October 11 2011, 15:18:29 UTC
There was something strange with this madness, Mifune decided as he walked through the King of Prussia Mall with a sword out and a wary gaze around him. The madness wavelength didn't seem particularly strong -- he wasn't feeling it -- and yet it had managed to cause such widespread influence over these people. Was it purely based on emotion, or situation? The madness seemed to be on a purely individual level.

Shibusen was shorthanded enough that they'd sent him to handle what should be something for the students, though Mifune didn't mind half as much as being made to leave Angela under a stranger's guardianship.

Up in front, Mifune spotted Hisoka and stopped to assess the situation. He was familiar -- Mifune had seen him around, sometimes with Yuuri, which was the only reason why Mifune remembered -- but the question was if the man had turned into a kishin egg or not. His bearing certainly seemed like one.

Hisoka hadn't noticed Mifune. He was too busy having fun. A young teenage girl ran past him, covered in blood. Swift as a cat, his arm shot out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her up to dangle in front of his face.

She screamed and writhed, trying desperately to break free of his bruising grip. Using his other hand, he gripped her chin, forcing her to face him as he examined her. "Hnn. Normal. A pity." He dropped her to land ungracefully on the plaza floor, watching in amusement as she scrambled to get away.

He felt a raking pain across his shoulder as he was attacked by another crazed person.

Sorry for the late, I got busy! And now I am going on a trip wtf. ninetyninesouls October 22 2011, 07:49:08 UTC
Mifune would have moved to stop him from hurting the girl if he hadn't noted that Hisoka was, after all, mostly lucid and only bloodthirsty. That seemed to be a natural thing about the guests during madness, and Mifune was beginning to wonder about the quality of people the BREW brings in. Was it necessary to win the war?

Swiftly, he moved forward to deal with the assailant, hitting the person with the reserve side of his blade at the back of his head. The man crumpled down in a heap, and Mifune regarded Hisoka with a level gaze.

no problem ^^. Where are you going? jokeralwayswins October 22 2011, 08:09:51 UTC
Hisoka turned, more annoyed than anything else that some pathetic little leech had tried to attack him. The pain from his wound was trifling, as were the dots of blood seeping into the back of his shirt.

As he turned, he saw that his attacker was being dealt with by a tall, silvery-haired man with a blade. Hisoka raised an eyebrow, unimpressed that someone had felt the need to assist him.

He returned the level gaze. "Annoying, aren't they," he said to the stranger in a smooth voice.

Annoying wasn't exactly what Mifune would call it, if he had any opinion on the matter. True to his nature, however, Mifune only stoically stared at Hisoka before turning to direct his gaze down the corridor. He had a mission, and if this man knew not to murder non-kishin eggs, then Mifune wasn't about to stop him from his bloodlust.

"Yuuri?" he asked instead, his short word meant to ask where the boy was. Mifune hadn't really been able to keep track of where his students had gone, being busy this time of the year (or so Shibusen said; Mifune hadn't been in Shibusen that long).

Ooh sounds good! Have fun :D jokeralwayswins October 22 2011, 08:50:09 UTC
It seemed like the other man wasn't going to get in Hisoka's way. Good. After all, Hisoka was helping Shibusen, even if it was in his own way.

He shrugged in indifference at Mifune's question. "Another part of the mall taking on kishin eggs," he replied in a bored voice. Inwardly, he wasn't happy Yuuri was pairing with other people. Weaker people. That wouldn't help him ripen. But Hisoka wasn't someone who gave up. He'd get Yuuri, eventually.

He cast his eyes over the chaos in the mall, crossing his arms loosely. It was emptying fast as people streamed out of the exits, trying to get away. "Going for the pre-kishin eggs?" he asked.

I came back! ninetyninesouls October 31 2011, 13:44:17 UTC
Yuuri taking on kishin eggs. Mifune hoped that it was Yuuri doing it, and not that Maou that sometimes spoke in Yuuri's voice.

"No," he shrugged. "Mission's to dispose of kishin eggs. Pre doesn't cut it." There was a chance that they might recover, even if Shibusen didn't believe in that. Mifune didn't believe, either, but he didn't like to take chances on human lives if he could help it. A hundred percent certainty that what he was cutting down was a monster and not an innocent human soul was his only option.
