She was lying on the cold pavement face down, blood spilling out every second. A deep, deep red... like the tattoos that tried to devour her body from the inside out. For a moment or two, she thought that's what it was. Not blood, but pure pain pouring out of her small body. She was tired of bearing so much pain inside; it was almost liberating to feel it slip away. Even though the curse didn't mean anything here, she felt it living under her skin. And now, it broke loose like a flood once her flesh was pierced.
Well, that's what it looked like to her, her head feeling light. She hit the ground pretty hard, after all. In retrospect, she thinks of the chores she left for tomorrow. Souji would have to finish them now. She was really just a nuisance to him, wasn't she? She couldn't even do something as simple as say 'good-bye'.
She thought she saw someone approaching her in her daze. It must be her imagination. Another hopeful dream.]
