Takuto had been practicing his warm-up strokes for less than three minutes when he stopped. He began to quietly put his wooden practice swords away, looking at Kaoru with a shameless shrug.
"You wanna just go get coffee instead this morning?"
He'd fake an injury today if he had to, because it was obvious that whatever was distracting his sensei today was more important than one morning's training. It seemed like she, more than him, could use a break.
