It took a little while, but, eventually, what had once been a site pulsing with people slowly wound down to just three. Souji, being Souji, of course volunteered to help clean up. And unlike everyone else who had offered, Yosuke had made the impulse decision to accept on Kurt's behalf.
It was now or never. Even if the lingering warmth from such an amazing night left Yosuke hesitant to ruin it. He may have been a bit of an idiot sometimes...well, a lot of the time, but the teenager-turned-almost-adult had a better grip on who he was now more than ever.
Especially when it came to a statute of limitations on his nerve. Either he did this tonight, or he never did.
The three of them were spread out, cleaning up various corners. Yosuke wasn't sure if he was imagining the tension or not, but it seemed to seep into the silence. He waited until they'd made a sizable dent in the mess (the last thing he wanted was for Kurt to have to deal with this crap after he...augh, he couldn't even think it, how was he supposed to do it!?) before flopping down on the sofa, staring at Kurt and Souji nervously.
"Uh, guys? Mind if we take a break?"
