[There's loud fumbling of a key and a short, whisper-shouted stream of mild profanity as Kirin wrestles with the doorknob, trying to open the door. It's late and he's drunk enough to know he's mostly smashed, and the world's still the shittiest thing ever because... well, just because!
Unfortunately, he's too drunk to notice it's not his door he's valiantly trying to bring down, but his neighbor's.]
