Description: Tassadar and Selendis attempt to try and harness the energies from the madness wavelength. It works, kind of, but there's a long way for them to go, and Selendis still isn't happy with the fact that Kerrigan's involved.
Tassadar had retreated to the rooftops in the days after speaking with Shibusen and Kerrigan to meditate. It had taken him some time to consider his options, and what would be the best viable source of energy they could use for the project at hand. The human's need for electricity, while useful, wouldn't have suited his purpose. Tassadar had found it far too unreliable, and he wished for an energy source far greater than that. It was after those thoughts that he began considering the psionic matrix back on Aiur, and what the planet Earth had to offer in return. He knew well that it was lacking in such an energy matrix, but after deep contemplation, the templar had begun to wonder if there was a way for the madness wavelength to be harnessed as a form of energy. It was theoretically possible, considering what he knew of the Khala and the energies of the Void, but would he be able to find the right equipment to harness them here?
That thought had left Tassadar at a loss until earlier this day. His people were able to utilize such energy due to the crystals they'd placed within their technology. While the crystals themselves held no power, it was their abilities to harness energy that had made them so valuable to his people. That was why he had removed one of the smaller crystals from his armour. The crystal once dully stood against the gold armour of his shoulder, but was now held within his hand as Tassadar shifted in his crouched position while laying it down on the sand.
Unsurprisingly there was no visible reaction, but he hadn't expected there to be either. That was why he pulled out the old communication device that Shibusen had given him when he'd first arrived. He'd seen the way that the machines had operated, and knew that they had to have even a crude device within that could be used in junction with his khaydarin crystal.
'If this works, then the generator need not rely on such an unreliable energy source such as electricity,' Tassadar thoughtfully murmured to Selendis as he reached over to begin unscrewing the screws in his communicator.
