Colette was excited, eager to show her friend around. She planned to show him the park, the ice cream shop, her work (Death by Pastry), and the pet store. There was also perhaps the cinema to show him for future reference, she considered, hurrying along to the Communal. As she approached and saw Zelos' familiar pink and red she rushed, stumbling once but managing to straighten. "Ah, I hope you weren't waiting too long!"

Zelos had all but jumped to catch her when she stumbled, but he quickly saw she wouldn't fall and let her take care of herself. "Not at all, I only just got here." he said, it was a bit of a lie, he had come down early to make sure he wouldn't keep her waiting. "So... where did were we going to go today?"

"Oh, that's good....um, I was thinking maybe I could show you the park? And the ice cream shop, and my work. The pet store?" She asked, giving an almost bashful smile at her clumsiness, as if in apology. "Was there anywhere in particular you wanted to see?"

"That all sounds very nice." He said, smiling at her and wrapping a casual arm over her shoulders. "I can't think of a specific place I want to see, but if I see something I will let you know."

Colette gave a nod and small laugh as Zelos slung an arm around her shoulders. "Okay then. What did you want to see first?"

"Humm, how about your work?" He suggested, smiling at her.

"Death by Pastry? Okay!" Colette gave a smile, one hand reaching for Zelos' as she stepped forward now they had a destination in mind, intending to show him the way. "I think I'm....getting more used to the idea of you remembering more than me. I mean, you knowing me before I met you here...." Colette admitted, her smile turning almost sheepish.

"Are all the names around here morbid like that?" He asked, giving her his hand and following a long easily. "That's good, but don't force it, and if I say anything that makes you feel uncomfortable just say so and I won't do it again, okay?"

Colette gave a small laugh, "Yes. I think it's like a theme here. I mean, the city is called Death City, so...." she trailed off with a small shake of her head. It was perhaps a little unsettling, but she was used to the names and decor of the city by now. Her hand closed against his, taking it and leading him towards Death by Pastry. "I'll remember. It's just....different, but I'm more used to it now after Lloyd."

"So I am starting to see. Good thing this place is much more lively than it sounds tough." he said, bright smile showing his joke, even as he had a fond look in his eyes. "Just don't push yourself, I can wait until you are comfortable." He added, since he certainly didn't want her to be uncomfortable.

"Yes, it certainly is! There's always something going on here. It's quite fun, sometimes!" Colette exclaimed happily, wanting to reassure her friend that though they were here unwillingly, it wasn't so bad. "O-of course....Yes." She gave a nod, seeming relieved though she wanted to push herself to make up for the slight guilt she still felt at not remembering.

"It is sounding very nice so far... maybe not something I wanted from the start, but it isn't so bad." He said, giving her hand a soft squeeze. "You know, it's not your fault either..." He said, giving her a look like he knew what she was worrying about. "You didn't ask to be from a time before the rest of us, just like Lloyd and I didn't say we wanted to know more, it just happened that way."

"It's really not, once you get used to things here, I mean...." Colette reassured him, giving a nervous smile. "I--I know. I still...I guess I just feel kind of bad, for not remembering....." She figured he must be a very close friend if he knew her this well to tell what she was worrying about so easily.

Zelos leveled her with a kind but serious look. "You're not the only one that doesn't remember as much as someone else, and it isn't any easier knowing things that others don't." While he didn't want to criticize her for feeling bad he wanted to let her know she wasn't the only one. "It's okay to just not know, so try not to let it be too much of a problem."

Colette nodded, lips a little pursed as she listened. She knew what he said was true, she just had trouble applying this to include herself. That was the problem. But, Colette was Colette, and she always felt bad about a lot of things, often even things out of her control. "O-okay....I'll try." At the very least, from what he and Emil had told her, they managed to reunite the two worlds (mostly) as planned. Even if she didn't complete her Journey as intended, as long as they found a solution.

With no warning Zelos tugged Colette to him, wrapping her up in a hug. He held her close for a moment in a rare display of affection for him, normally one to keep even friends at arms length; but really Colette was more like a long lost sister then a friend. "Your strong, I know you can do it."
