Description: Souji has a lot to think about today, and with his ongoing nightmares, there's no way he's able to sleep. So he takes a walk.
He didn't want to bother anyone on this day, of all days. The nightmares he'd been having had gotten increasingly worse as the weather began to change throughout the city, and what used to be a warm place slowly began to get colder; colder still, at night. But the sky was filled with stars, and it wasn't that bad of a night, really. Not bad for a walk, and the crisp air was helpful in clearing some of the thoughts in his head.
Because if it had only been one thought or two, Souji could have stayed back home in his apartment, sitting out in the front room while Miku went to bed. Instead, he had to tell her he needed some time, and so he was going to be out for awhile. Not to worry about him, that he would be back home eventually. Fresh air to clear his head, and all things like that.
But it was December 3rd. Today, he had almost killed a man. Nanako had died, and then come back to life. He'd made the right decision, hadn't he? A part of him always wondered about that; Namatame was a friend, could be counted on now, but he wasn't back home. Back home he was just a man filled with loneliness and despair. Filled with something that even Souji could relate to, which might have been the problem to start out with. But after hearing what had happened in Yosuke's world, how could he even think that anything but not throwing him into the TV was a good idea? He didn't know. Ever since Adachi, ever since coming back here and knowing about Adachi, Souji's world had felt turned upside down.
Hell, even knowing about Kurt and Yosuke made him wonder what to do. Relationships could be a problem, and while he'd made sure not to go into too much with those back home in Inaba, there was something to be said about coming to a brand new city, and suddenly having a million relationship problems. And not even with just those two; with his friends, as well, both old and new. The pessimistic part of himself told him there was no way he could trust everyone when they said that a goddess was behind everything because he hadn't seen that, but what if it was true? Everyone said the same thing. That meant something as well.
This was why he needed a walk. He needed this time to figure out too many things.
