[everything hurts, actually, and the worse part for him is the fact that he has to hobble towards his door like he was part of a vestigial species in the history of mankind nobody ever wanted or cared for. it's a miracle he's alive, sure. also, it's pure skill. but other than that? a failure. how dare he allow himself to be as injured as he is at the moment.
he tries to fish out the keys from his pocket and attempts to push it through the keyhole -- but even moving his limbs is very difficult, let alone the fact that he's limping (who's the old man now?) -- and just his luck, the keys fell, and he'll be damned if he's going to bend his joints and pick that up.
so xanxus just stares at it. someone will get it for him. they will come. goddamit, he's xanxus, he doesn't pick up shit from the ground.
he'll be staring at the keys until someone picks them up or opens the door for him.
