It was nice to be out of the house again. While he didn't exactly mind making sure Asch was eating and sleeping, it got pretty boring after awhile. Rufus showed up for work on time, pleased to be here instead of at home.

Zelos smiled brightly at the handsome blond man, doing his best to make a good impression. He vaguely remembered something about one of the men working here having to stay home. "Hello." He started, greeting the blond, "My name is Zelos." He hope that he hadn't met him before and forgotten or something, it wouldn't look good.

Another redhead with spiky bangs. Rufus gave him a charming smile as the man introduced himself. He'd seen him around, but Rufus hadn't really bothered getting to know his coworkers well at all.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Zelos," he replied. "I'm Rufus."

"The pleasure is mine, Rufus." Zelos said, bowing his head and looking up at Rufus from through his lashes. The blond was a very professional type of attractive, something Zelos could appreciate, though he would keep to the 'look, don't touch' idea with this one.

Zelos was quite the bit of eye candy. Rufus gave him an imperious nod and subtle gave the other a once over. He was very attractive, Rufus decided, definitely somebody he could enjoy watching at work every day.

"Have you been in the city long?" he asked, making conversation.

Zelos smiled amiably, noticing that specific feeling when someone is looking at you, not just looking at you. It didn't bother him really, the man hadn't doe anything over the top and uncalled for like the women at home did, so it didn't effect him at all.

"No, just arrived a little bit ago, with this last group." he said, having noticed that people treated it as if new comers came in large groups as opposed to trickling in one by one.

"Ah," Rufus said. Zelos had a nice smile, and he seemed pleasant enough. Nothing about him made Rufus instantly wary, at least, or instantly at ease, so he figured the guy was alright. "I see. Not so long ago, then."

The blonde flicked an errant strand of hair out of his eyes. "I came in just over a month ago. The first thing they ever did was pack us up and take us on a cruise."

"Well that certainly sounds luxurious. So they do try to be accommodating to those that end up here." Zelos said, blinking slightly at the idea of going off on a cruse.

"They'd have an even bigger mess on their hands if they didn't," Rufus replied. "People complain loudly enough now: can you imagine how back it would be if they didn't?"

"True, if past experience is anything to go by I would say at least some riots, a lot of segregation in one form or another. A right mess all around." Zelos said shaking is head, the long red hair bouncing and rippling in its wavy texture. "Either way take care of them, so the people here benefit."

"Sounds like fun," Rufus grumbled slightly. He knew how that went. "It can't be bad for the local economy either. After all, they've got qualified laborers here, who need jobs now, and other people who need more services. I'd hate to see what happens to this place once we're all gone."

"It is very true." Zelos said. "Not to mention an attractive staffing for places here in their entertainment district." He gave Rufus a generous wink.

Rufus responded to the wink with a smirk and a once over of Zelos's body. "Indeed. The staff here at the host club are particularly delicious to look at." By which he meant himself and Zelos, primarily. He hoped the redhead would take the hint.

Zelos got the hint loud and clear, a smirk lifting up the corners of his mouth as he liberally returned the once over. "Oh by all means, I hope that my coworkers don't end up as too much of a distraction while I'm working."

"Yes, it would be quite the shame if any of us were to distract you from your work." The emphasis was soft, but it certainly made "distract" sound more like "drag you off to the back for a quickie". Rufus smiled and gave him a slightly heated look. "In a place like this, the clients need our full attention."

"Well I certainly hope I won't be too terrible a distraction for you as well." He said, understanding the exact kind of implication of how Rufus had said that. "Of course, I would hate to neglect the clients."
