It's a pleasure to meet you, as well. I'm Naomi Kimishima. Do you have any specific assignments, or will you be on hand in the clinic?

I will be on patrol in the Outer Residential Quarter 1. And yourself?

I work in the clinic, so I'm not tied to one particular area. Currently there aren't enough people to cover all the districts, and my partner and I aren't suited to patrols anyway.

I see. I take that to mean you don't have the combat experience? I assume that's what makes the difference.

Yes. My weapon has no offensive capabilities that we've seen so far, so we're of better use somewhere central.

I'm sure we'll cross path regardless. Do you specialize in anything?

You likely wouldn't recognize it...something particular to my home world. I used to work as a general surgeon before that, however.

I see. I am currently studying to be a doctor.

If you don't mind my asking, what are you looking to go into?

For now I have an interest in Pharmacology, and medicinal herbs. But I would love to be a physician.

Well, you may get a taste of that working here. Usually when someone on the Watch needs attending to, it's because they've sustained some kind of injury on the job.

[Hanabi waits politely for her turn to speak. She is interested in learning first aid and how to treat injuries in case she ever comes across someone injured during her patrol shifts. At least enough to help until an experienced medic can come to take care of the injured party.]
