Description: Luke has some time off to recover from his arm, but doesn't want to stay with sick!Asch anymore right now, so he is out... while also on his painkillers.

Raidou was at the Shopping district, on his way back to the Agency when he spotted Luke across the street. The sling caught his attention and he walked over, concerned.

"Hello, Luke. How is your arm?"

It took Luke a moment to recognize him, not just because he hadn't really talked to him in a little while, but also because he was a little muddled by his meds, but when he did a bright smile lit up his face and eyes. "Raidou, Hi. It is okay." if anything he didn't seem to notice it was wrapped up and tied down with the sling at all.

"That is good to hear." Well, at least Luke seemed to be in a good mood. Raidou could guess where the injury had come from, given how many people had ended up in the clinic. "How have you been otherwise?"

Still all smiles he laughed slightly before answering "Not too bad, but Asch got sick so the apartment has been busy. That is why I'm out here, wanted to get away from all that. How have you been?"

Definitely in a good mood. "I have been well. The Detective Agency has kept me quite occupied. Is Asch your partner, then?" He didn't know that much about who Luke spent time with, come to think of it.

"Oh no~ Asch and I aren't partners, I don't think we would be very good at it if we tried. I'm Asch's replica... he does cooking and such for me because I lit my stove on fire the first time I tried to cook here." He seems to think that everything he has mentioned is just great fun as that smile is still on his face and ever now an then he lets out a little giggle, his eyes also seem to be unfocusing a bit.

"His replica?"

He had dismissed the cheerfulness as normal at first, but by now he was starting to realize that Luke wasn't quite himself. He watched the redhead with increasing concern.

"Yeah, Asch is the original, I am a replica of him... I was made when he was 10. I don't know everything but I was meant to replace him to destroy a town and die with it... but I didn't die either, so who knows what is supposed to happen now."

He possibly seemed a little morbid at this point, considering he merely looked a little curious as he talked about all of this, even the fact that he was supposed to have died.

Whatever he had been expecting to hear, this was not it. The fact that Luke didn't seem to be bothered at all was not reassuring.

"I'm glad you did not die." He meant it. "But... Are you certain you are alright?"

If Luke was created when Asch was ten, and Asch was... how old now? Luke's age? Then wouldn't that mean Luke was technically still a child? Yet he was carrying a burden like that, and now he had been brought to fight in war as well...

Normally he wouldn't have been so unaffected by it, but his meds had given him a kind of emotional distance from the whole thing, so that it felt no more difficult to deal with than another persons problem.

"Me too... I like being alive." He responded before looking a little confused at Raidou before looking down at himself. He blinked a couple times when he saw his bandaged arm. "Oh right... I got hurt before." He said, a little softly, before looking back up and smiling. "I'm sure I'm fine, the pain meds they gave me are good." Despite his words Luke's expression seemed a little hazy, like maybe his meds were good at more than just blocking his pain.

Well, it was good that he wasn't in pain, but that unfocused look told Raidou that the relief hadn't come without consequences. "Nevertheless, should you really be outside by yourself? Even if we are within the city, you can never be certain something will not happen." There had been unexpected attacks on the city before, sometimes even from one of the guests.

"Huh?" Luke asked, giving Raidou a look of confusion. "Even if I had wanted someone with me there was no point in asking Asch or Rufus. Asch is sick so they are both being difficult." He said, not really understanding that worry was he would be unable to protect himself in his injured and medicated state.

"Did you at least let your friends know where you went?" Raidou asked. "I apologize if I am being overbearing, but I would rather not see anything happen to you while you are in this state."

If Luke was as muddled by his medications as he seemed, he might not think to call for help with his communicator, nor could he defend himself properly with only one arm. Leaving him wandering around like this didn't seem like a good idea.

"Yeah... I told them I was going out for a walk." He answered, not looking the least bit annoyed by the questioning. In fact, he was giving Raidou a rather awkward, one armed hug, a bright smile on his face.

...Ahem. While Raidou didn't return the hug, he didn't push Luke away either. "That is good, at least." He patted Luke's shoulder a bit clumsily.

"...By the way, have you seen the Detective Agency yet? I was just returning there." If Luke came with him, Raidou could at least look after him until his head cleared.

Luke smiled brightly at Raidou, not seeming to notice his lack of return hug.

"Really?! I can come see it?" He seemed happy with the idea, though really a good part of his happiness came from the idea of someone wanting him around.
