Description: Zeus still fails at networking and spends most of his time meandering. today he's taken an interest in window shopping!
Having no real concept of time, Zeus could not say how long he'd been in the city. Being mortal did not make him more aware of these things, though he was starting to understand just why Man became so anxious. With the constant cycling of bodily needs and the incessant beat of his own heart, it was as though they spent all their lives listening to the ticking of time passing. To Zeus, the only marked differences he had seen were in the seasons, in the outrageous celebrations man used to embark upon when harvesting seasons began. These celebrations were much different now, but since his arrival this was the first Zeus had noticed the people begin coming together. The decor in shops was beginning to change, great words reading SALE in reds and yellows, advertisements for the Christmas that continually arose.
And the state of dress of the statues in the windows had also changed. They wore more now. Likely, it was due to the chill in the air. Mortals were so fragile, and Zeus had to continually remind himself that he was subject to the same flaws now. Still, the concept of the clothing they wore was unappealing to the god. The nip in the air was nothing compared to the irritation of the cloth on his skin.
