Description: Sometimes, what you really need is to lose yourself in a good book.
While the three cuts along her arm started from halfway down her upper arm to nearly her wrist, they really weren't all that deep. So while it made it painful to bend her arm even just a little, she didn't need to stay over-night. Still, it was early evening by the time the hospital staff allowed Aqua to check out of the clinic.
Once she made it home, she cleaned up and found, to her dismay, she wasn't tired at all. Whether it was because of lingering stress from the mission or her arm (it certainly wasn't the adrenaline from fighting. That had passed quite a while ago) she really didn't know.
After a moment of awkwardly standing in the middle of her apartment she caught sight of a book she had borrowed from the library sometime before leaving for the mission. If she remembered correctly, it was due in a couple more days, but she was already finished and it wasn't like she had anything better to do right now.
One short walk from the Casualty Communal and one returned book later, she was trailing her fingers over the spines of the books in Shibusen's library idly as she moved between the shelves.
