He had no interest in the camp, and merely waited on the outskirts for the mission to begin. His movements were silent as he finally returned to Cloud's side. The last time they'd invaded a factory, they'd discovered the difficulties of fighting against the Witches.
That battle remained in his mind while he swiftly made his way down the hall. His senses were alert to any signs of danger, and given the distant sounds of battle, the ex-General knew that they would come across it. Knowing their luck, it would be sooner rather than later.
[ooc: It can be either ( ... )

He cast a glance over to the other members of this little squad.]

He walked closer to the front of the room, at ease and feeling in control of the situation. He knew Sephiroth well enough to allow the silver-haired man silence, but he glanced to the other two members.]
You're Sendo, right? You been involved in any of these large-scale missions before?
Reply
Yeah. That's me. What's your name? I didn't catch it. [He was too focused on the upcoming battle to ever catch any of their names.]
Nah. I do fight for a living back home, but it's more of a one on one thing.

Let's move.
[His words are curt, and it's obvious that he's in mission mode to those who know him.]

I'm Cloud, and the tall, silver and gloomy guy is my partner, Sephiroth. [He carefully avoided any looks Sephiroth might send him.]
[He followed the tall silver-haired man, but his attention shifted to Sendo again.] War is a little different, especially here. We'll back you up, so if you need help, just holler. We're all here to see the end of the day, right?

But when Sephiroth moved out he followed easily enough. it was pretty easy to tell who was in charge, and he had no problem following his lead]
Doubt this will really be like a war either way.

So how long y ou guys been here?

[His attention remained fixated on their surroundings while they made their way down the hall.]
Attacking and infiltrating a factory would hardly considered fighting in a war.
[While his words are directed at Shinjiro, they were loud enough for the others to hear.]
Reply
Eh, it's similar to a war that I fought, so I won't complain.
[He followed Sephiroth's lead, folding his arms behind his head casually even if he was tilting his head to listen for signs of battle.] A few months for me.
Reply
But I mean there's no generals or back up. At least not close enough to matter. [He looked over at the other two and shrugged] Few months for me too.

[The lack of knowledge didn't come as any surprise. That seemed to be a common theme among the guests.]
[The mention of there not being any generals or back up caused his lips to quirk up, but he didn't make any mention of it. The subtle smirk disappeared in the next moment though.]
If you are not confident in your skills without such aid or back up, then you are not fit for this mission.

[These small-scale weasel missions were fine by him. He disliked the thought of serving in a large-scale warfront; they were tedious. He also disliked listening to orders as he had to for the Adachi assault.]
This is the second to a factory like this. There was another mission on one of the witches bases, but usually it's city defense.

Just 'cuz I notice something doesn't mean I need it. I sure as hell didn't have anything like that back home. [There's a thread of pride in his voice. SEES were on their own all the time, and when he was fighting regularly it was just him and two other people.
...though Shadows were a bit more mindless then Witches.]
