"It's the kinda word Spike head uses." Yuffie said offhandedly as she debated what to do.....What to do....
Reno was not going to be happy.
"I'm gonna find him, I'll catch up no question got it? If I can't find him in three I'll be back!" She turned on her heel and started back to the rough area she thought he might be in.
"Matt! HEY Matt! Where are you!" She hoped he wasn't too far from Red and Cloud cause then then they might be in major trouble. And contrary to popular belief, Yuffie was not always fond of trouble.

When the air raid siren went off, Matt would've liked to say he jerked awake, tightened his boot laces, and gone bravely out the door, but the truth of the matter was that it'd taken several rounds of the siren to even wake him up, and then he'd sat up dazedly with his hair sticking out in all directions around his goggles and stared blankly at the computer for a few moments before even really registering what was going on. And once he did, he'd kind of stumbled to his feet, double-checked the scrolling red text, and swayed toward the door with his boots untied like a drunk driver on the highway swerving back and forth.
Matt had never exactly been a morning person. He already had a bit of a caffeine headache.
Grumbling, he pulled the door open, hopping slightly to yank at the laces of his boots, glancing up and down the hallway before moving in with the general flow of traffic, the confusion of everything really doing his head in. A few moments later, he heard his name, blinked, and looked around.
Yuffie.
His hair was a mess, sticking up in every direction, there were sleep smudges around his eyes, his shirt was wrinkly and his vest was undone, but he smiled anyhow and lifted a hand, making his way over to her as briskly as he could in his half-asleep state, rubbing at his eyes, "What in the bloody hell is going on?"

She could have hugged the guy for being easy to find. She might have said three minutes, but knowing herself? She'd have looked until she found the guy. Damn that conscience....Totally AVALANCHE's fault. Totally their fault.
Entirely.
She assumed from as tired as Matt looked he'd been in something of her position...well...Who could blame them? Timezones were screwy things when you were dimension hopping!...Or...uh...she'd assume. Since she'd only done it the once. She was pretty sure.
"The Witches are attacking! They're going after everybody or something. That's all the info I've got, but we gotta move! Red and Cloud are already ahead so we gotta catch up" She gestured back in the direction of the boys, making eye contact and reverting to how she dealt in crisis times, laying out the information quickly and bluntly. "Since you're not from a fighting world you should stay with us in case we hit trouble."
"Got that? Good." Yuffie said, before grabbing Matt by the arm and bodily dragging him to try and match her normal speed back in the correct direction.

It was ridiculous. It was ludicrous. It offended his sensibilities as a thinking person from a world without Witches that weren't middle-aged hippies or teenage goth girls.
Yuffie grabbed at his arm, and he followed along with her, moving as quickly as he could make his body function.
"So th-ey..." his voice cracked, and he coughed, cleared his throat, "...the witches are attacking. Okay. Yeah. Not from a fighting world...ahnnngh."
He sped up, trying to make his feet work properly and not stumble like an idiot, the irritation melting away as it truly hit him that Yuffie had actually come back to make sure he was alright. He sped up the pace, "Yeah. Okay. I'll stick with you guys." he mumbled, "Bloody hell, wake up Matt, wake up wake up..."
