If Germany was a normal human, he might feel a little pathetic for fussing so much about his citizens, focusing enough attention on them to smother them if he could and they allowed him, would wait on them hand and foot because there were so few of them in Death City. Fortunately, he was nothing of the sort -- at least not mentally -- so he went about this fussing with a good conscience and a vague feeling that he was doing a good job of things.
At ten in the morning, promptly after attending training and hounding the butcher for the leather promised to him today, Franziska's door found itself with one large, blond German outside it and knocking firmly on its surface.
"Citizen," he said as he knocked. And knocked. And knocked.
