Whether it was an after-effect of having fought with a worthy opponent, or simply Yukimura's own curiosity, he found himself approaching the older man. It would have been rude to simply leave him be after all, considering they had both noted the presence of the other. The problem? Yukimura had never actually gone out of his way to speak with a stranger before. At least, not to simply say hello.

"Greetings!"

Hmm. That was simple enough.

He blinked once, twice, before he nodded. The other's weapons catch his eye, and yes, he does draw that conclusion. Was this man part of the Watch? Though Yukimura is not exactly a prime judge of character, the man appeared noble enough; he certainly did not appear to be hostile in any manner.

"Yes. This one is called Yukimura Sanada, second in command of Takeda Shingen's forces." Not that his rank is of any relevance in Death City... "Might this one inquire as to your name?"

Alucard. The name is foreign to his tongue, but that held true for numerous people he had spoken to. What caught the boy off surprise however, was that this man knew of his relations to Shingen. To say he was excited was an understatement.

"Yes! This Yukimura burns brightest at his side! He is a man known by many as the Tiger of Kai! An admirable, strong and wise man who shall unify our home world under his rule!"

He... might have gotten a little carried away there, but it was obvious Yukimura deeply respected Shingen.

"But of course! He is known across his land! A remarkable strategist, and bearing a wisdom this one could never hope to achieve. I, Yukimura, am honoured he would think to accept someone such as myself as second in command."

Speaking of his Lord however, only reminded Yukimura of how much he missed the charismatic man, but he does not, cannot dwell on the feeling.

"And yourself, Alucard-dono? Forgive this one's blind assumption if it is too bold, but you appear to be outfitted as a warrior."

The prospect of such a foe intrigues the boy, and he takes a step forward, arms half raising in his own anticipation, his hands balled into fists.

"That sounds quite remarkable indeed, Alucard-dono! You must be quite the warrior! These foes you battle, are they perhaps shinobi? Ninja are known for their stealth and cunning!"

At the other man's question however, Yukimura has to actually ponder the name before it occurs to him that such a foreign sounding name might have been hard to pronounce.

"A-ah! Hi-no-Moto!" A hand rises to his chin. "It is a country, currently divided amongst several lords, Takeda Shingen being one. This one was not aware its existence was known to such an extent..."

"And you were to fight such a battle on your own?!" The way Yukimura raised his voice suggested he was awe-stricken. It all sounded like it was something in a story told during his youth. "This man Alucard-dono sought to defeat, was he very powerful? You must be a warrior of extremely notable strength!"

The was Alucard was explaining it, he was simply reminded of Oda Nobunaga, but none of the provinces sought to challenge him on their own. In the end, it took an alliance of four forces to breach his castle. Using Nobunaga as a basis, Yukimura concluded Alucard was perhaps above even Nobunaga, and to even ponder the strength of his foe was mind boggling.

"Ah! The one you speak of is Masamune-dono, the Head of the province of Oushuu! He is this one's most worthy of rivals!"
