Just the fact that Prussia was still able to fight like that should have proved to him that he was still a country. Somewhere. Though England also was not fond of the wild human feelings he gained while being in this world. He certainly could not fault Prussia, or anyone, for that matter, for being worried.

He remained quiet as they took the gate back to Shibusen, thinking about what Prussia had said earlier. About helping him get stronger. England was grateful, of course. But he also felt bad that he had stumbled during the fight. He wanted to say that he would never let that happen again, that he would keep his emotions in check. But he could not say that for sure. Prussia had that affect on him, whether England liked it or not, and he would just have to continue to get stronger in hopes of blocking out everything that made him weak.

He turned to give Prussia a soft grin when they got back. He certainly could not thank Prussia. Not with words, anyway. So he did the next best thing; before Prussia even had time to think, England walked over to him and gave him the quickest of pecks on the lips. Then he turned away and moved as fast as he could out of the room. "Let's do this again, sometime, idiot."

"Ah..."

Prussia stood still for a moment as he watched England leave the room. Perhaps it was a good thing, however. His face suddenly turned a bit sullen, a frown that looked a bit heavy. It brought back a lot of things that he had been trying very hard to bury.

The things that he had gained...the things he had lost...they were all things that he didn't want to think about, but he knew that he would have to face all of it eventually. In particular, there was one thing he knew he had to face. All of the things that he had gained and lost had changed something important. Something he didn't expect to change. But it had.

His one goal since the very beginning.

"Damn."

He scratched his head for a moment, trying to process his feelings for a second before leaving the room. With a sigh escaping first, he managed to wipe the negative expression off of his face before anyone else could see. No matter what, even if the goal changed, he would still fight for it. No matter the result, he would win. Finally, he was able to bring back that familiar smirk.

"As many times as it takes to get stronger."
