It felt like forever since Sasuke had been out on a mission, and the anticipation was simmering under his skin even after they'd reached their destination. The kishin were supposedly around here ripping out the organs of unsuspecting passerbys, and the thought made his gaze narrow. Those witches, they really had no shame. Though it wasn't something he could linger on. Orochimaru, he hadn't been much better.
Shaking the thought off, he looked over his shoulder to be sure Naruto was still there, though it wasn't necessary with how noisy the guy was. Mifune on the other hand, was quieter than anyone he'd ever met. Half the time the only reason Sasuke knew he was there was from the soft sound of his many swords. Something his gaze kept going toward. He wanted to see Mifune use them again, and he wanted to hold one in his palm again.
Whether it would come to that or not, of course, would depend on the enemy.
