(
It was all busy and tiring, but he wouldn't have it any other way... )
Flicking back through her communicator until she found the location and floor and room of their new apartment, Minako hurried up the stairs, before stopping outside the door. Shifting the box around to see if she could knock on the door without dropping anything, she eventually deemed it a lost cause and banged on the wooden surface with her elbow instead.]

And when he opened the door, Yosuke grinned over being correct.]
Hey--dude, how much did you bring!? [Yosuke laughed, jutting out his arms to take some of the load off her. He craned his neck over his shoulder, shooing Iza-chan back inside with his socked foot. She had smelled the food too, it seemed.] A little help here, partner?

There were quite a few sandwiches left over, so... I just asked and Manager was happy to let me take them off her hands.
[Rising onto her tip-toes, she peers over Yosuke's shoulder into the apartment.]
How's the moving going?
Reply
[He followed her gaze, looking over his own shoulder with a nervous chuckle.] Well, uh, it's going? You came just in time, Souji turns into a beast when he's hungry.
Reply
Well, I guess she just didn't want to see them go to waste. That's fair enough.
[She chuckles, and shifts her grip on the sandwich boxes.]
Maybe we should find some plates or something then? Before he goes on a rampage.

[He was hamming it up, pulling a snooty accent while blindly plucking a few plates from the cupboards.]

Practicing for when you're on the job are you?
Reply
Thanks for bringing over food. It's nice to have a night off from cooking.

[Minako's digging around in the box, pulling out plastic containers of sandwiches and little cakes. Most of them just look neatly prepared, with colourful filling and decoration, but every now and again some sandwiches will appear cut into shapes - like stars, or flowers. It's quite a medley.]

I haven't seen you in awhile. How are things at work? I know you don't have a partner yet, but how are you? [He asked gently. They'd had a lot of people sent back home, and they had a lot of people return.]

[Pushing the boxes to one side slightly, Minako leans forward arms folded on the surface and tilts her head.]
... I'm okay, I guess. It's been an odd few days. Kinda... stressful, I guess. Work's been fine though.
[It seems a lot longer since she and Shinjiro spoke, but it had definitely been playing on her mind a fair bit. All things considered, it had gone okay, but... she would have rather told him about the events of the 31st of January in her own time.
She shakes her head, and looks over at Souji.]
How about you? Everything okay?

[Souji said softly, finishing arranging the sandwiches after a moment, eyes flicking over to look at her.]
Stressful seems like an understatement. What with new people arriving, and friends from home, plus people leaving... It's been odd.
[He shrugged slightly.]
Yeah, everything is fine. New apartment, missions, SEES starting up. It's a lot, but it's a lot of good stuff. [Pauses.] And with new arrivals from home, there's been a few things to think about.

Tastes like it too.
... Yeah. Other things came up as well, but I think they're sorted. Maybe. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
[At the mentions of new arrivals though, she smiles and pops the last piece of the sandwich in her mouth.]
Yeah. We've had some arrivals from home as well - and one of them remembers me! I'm more used to them remembering Minato. [She rests her chin on the palm of her hand.] Although one of the people brought here was like Junpei... one of my best friends, but she doesn't know who I am.
Reply
[He nods, picking up a sandwich that's shaped like a star and looking at it critically before taking a bite.]
That must be tough, to know the same people, but for only some of them to know you. I'm pretty thankful that I don't have that problem, but we make up for it with plenty of our own. [He finished the sandwich easily.]
Though there are still some I wouldn't know what to do about. Chie has always been hard headed, but she's really...not taking some news well.

I think I'm getting used to it. It's more frustrating than upsetting now. I haven't spoken to Yukari since she arrived, but she was pretty suspicious of my story. If she's spoken to Junpei since then though, I guess I won't have much to worry about.
[Her head tilts slightly at the mention of one of Souji's friends, and news.]
Oh?
Reply
[He glanced at her and nodded.]
Yeah. The different timelines...I tried to explain that it's not the same for everyone. But she didn't accept that.
