[Minako hadn't bothered going back to her apartment after her shift. She had spare clothing in her bag, and a box full of left over sandwiches and fancy cakes she'd managed to snag when the Maid Cafe had closed for the day. It was probably better she got these to Souji-kun and Yosuke-kun's place so they could be eaten, or go in the fridge.

Flicking back through her communicator until she found the location and floor and room of their new apartment, Minako hurried up the stairs, before stopping outside the door. Shifting the box around to see if she could knock on the door without dropping anything, she eventually deemed it a lost cause and banged on the wooden surface with her elbow instead.]

[Yosuke was up first when he heard the knock, stomach leading him more than his feet. The sauce a few of the sandwiches were dressed with carried through the door, causing his stomach to rumble. Had to be Mina-chan.

And when he opened the door, Yosuke grinned over being correct.]

Hey--dude, how much did you bring!? [Yosuke laughed, jutting out his arms to take some of the load off her. He craned his neck over his shoulder, shooing Iza-chan back inside with his socked foot. She had smelled the food too, it seemed.] A little help here, partner?

Enough, I hope? [Minako grins, and drops the bag of clothing into his arms. Yosuke can get his hands on the sandwiches once they're out on plates, and only then young man.]

There were quite a few sandwiches left over, so... I just asked and Manager was happy to let me take them off her hands.

[Rising onto her tip-toes, she peers over Yosuke's shoulder into the apartment.]

How's the moving going?

Should be. They're all for me, right? [Yosuke smiled teasingly, only to pout when he received clothing instead of an armful of deliciousness.] Sounds like your boss is a good guy.

[He followed her gaze, looking over his own shoulder with a nervous chuckle.] Well, uh, it's going? You came just in time, Souji turns into a beast when he's hungry.

[Minako gives him a deadpan stare. No Yosuke, they are not all for you. The stare splits into a smile though, and she points at Yosuke.]

Well, I guess she just didn't want to see them go to waste. That's fair enough.

[She chuckles, and shifts her grip on the sandwich boxes.]

Maybe we should find some plates or something then? Before he goes on a rampage.

[Oh, woman-boss. That made sense. Yosuke smiled awkwardly, nodding once on his backwards walk to the kitchen.] Lucky for you, yours truly unpacked the kitchen stuff in preparation for your arrival, milady!

[He was hamming it up, pulling a snooty accent while blindly plucking a few plates from the cupboards.]

[Minako grins, and sets down a couple of the boxes on the side near Yosuke - and yes, the seafood ones are in there somewhere.]

Practicing for when you're on the job are you?

[He'd let Yosuke go and help Minako when she arrived, and it was a little later that he came to help her out in the kitchen. He didn't expect so many people to arrive, actually.]

Thanks for bringing over food. It's nice to have a night off from cooking.

No problem. This all would've gone to waste otherwise, and that'd just be a shame. The sandwiches at the cafe ate tasty, after all.

[Minako's digging around in the box, pulling out plastic containers of sandwiches and little cakes. Most of them just look neatly prepared, with colourful filling and decoration, but every now and again some sandwiches will appear cut into shapes - like stars, or flowers. It's quite a medley.]

They look tasty. [Souji said with a small smile, helping to make sure the sandwiches were out neatly on the table. They did look good, and he looked up at Minako with the same smile.]

I haven't seen you in awhile. How are things at work? I know you don't have a partner yet, but how are you? [He asked gently. They'd had a lot of people sent back home, and they had a lot of people return.]

They're doing their job then, huh?

[Pushing the boxes to one side slightly, Minako leans forward arms folded on the surface and tilts her head.]

... I'm okay, I guess. It's been an odd few days. Kinda... stressful, I guess. Work's been fine though.

[It seems a lot longer since she and Shinjiro spoke, but it had definitely been playing on her mind a fair bit. All things considered, it had gone okay, but... she would have rather told him about the events of the 31st of January in her own time.

She shakes her head, and looks over at Souji.]

How about you? Everything okay?

Looks like it.

[Souji said softly, finishing arranging the sandwiches after a moment, eyes flicking over to look at her.]

Stressful seems like an understatement. What with new people arriving, and friends from home, plus people leaving... It's been odd.

[He shrugged slightly.]

Yeah, everything is fine. New apartment, missions, SEES starting up. It's a lot, but it's a lot of good stuff. [Pauses.] And with new arrivals from home, there's been a few things to think about.

[She plucks one of the sandwiches out herself - one shaped like a flower, a cute little sandwich with chopped gem like fruit inside it - and takes a bite.]

Tastes like it too.

... Yeah. Other things came up as well, but I think they're sorted. Maybe. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

[At the mentions of new arrivals though, she smiles and pops the last piece of the sandwich in her mouth.]

Yeah. We've had some arrivals from home as well - and one of them remembers me! I'm more used to them remembering Minato. [She rests her chin on the palm of her hand.] Although one of the people brought here was like Junpei... one of my best friends, but she doesn't know who I am.

Things should be interesting for awhile, that's for sure.

[He nods, picking up a sandwich that's shaped like a star and looking at it critically before taking a bite.]

That must be tough, to know the same people, but for only some of them to know you. I'm pretty thankful that I don't have that problem, but we make up for it with plenty of our own. [He finished the sandwich easily.]

Though there are still some I wouldn't know what to do about. Chie has always been hard headed, but she's really...not taking some news well.

[She folds her arms on the counter.]

I think I'm getting used to it. It's more frustrating than upsetting now. I haven't spoken to Yukari since she arrived, but she was pretty suspicious of my story. If she's spoken to Junpei since then though, I guess I won't have much to worry about.

[Her head tilts slightly at the mention of one of Souji's friends, and news.]

Oh?

I spoke to Yukari briefly. She seems like a nice person, I hope that Junpei is able to convince her. [Pauses.] No, I'm sure she will.

[He glanced at her and nodded.]

Yeah. The different timelines...I tried to explain that it's not the same for everyone. But she didn't accept that.
