Training was over for the day, and Fakir was already planning on heading out to help more with clean-up. But at the moment he was at the apartment he shared with Ahiru, specifically in the bathroom, with the door ajar. He'd changed into a clean shirt and was washing his face.
Straightening up, he wiped water away from his face with the back of his hand and blinked wetly at his reflection.
The shiner on his left eye was swelling a little more today, and had turned a bit darker. At least it didn't hurt as much, though it was still pretty tender. Fakir didn't care how it looked, except that it bothered Ahiru.
