[It didn't take too long after receiving the message for Momo to show up. She felt a little more comfortable than the last time she'd approached a Meister about this, after having managed to resonate with Michelle successfully. So it was with a bright smile and a wave that she made her presence known.]

Hello, Leon!

Hey, Momo!

[He grinned. She was pretty cute over the network, but she seemed a lot cuter now in person! He's pretty excited about working with her. She looked like an incredible sweetheart. While he was a bit more used to working with fellow rough people like Cuba, it would be fun to work with someone cute. Well-- his shiftmates were really cute, too. Ah, he's loving Death City more and more each day!]

[Momo'd liked what she'd seen of Leon so far. Sure, he seemed rather rough around the edges, but she had a feeling he had his heart in the right place. He reminded her a bit of Rei, a friend from back home, actually.]

So, ready to see if we can work together?

[Well, if that was how Momo saw him, she was pretty much on the right track! As rough as Leon might seem, he's an incredibly chummy and good-hearted kind of guy.]

Yep! Well-- I've never really handled a bazooka, so I guess I gotta take care in using ya.

[He looks just a little awkward there.]

'm still not used to this whole human weapon thing.

[maddogscientist]

[Momo laughs a little.]

Yeah, you'll need to take care in not blowing too much stuff up or the wrong target, mostly.

[Her smile turns a little awkward as well.]

I'm not really used to it, either, although I think I'd feel weirder about holding a Weapon than being one.

[She concentrates for a few moments, and then there's an old-fashioned looking bazooka sitting where Momo was standing.]

So... you aren't used to handling weapon--

[His words die on his lips as he sees the cutest bazooka ever the old-fashioned looking bazooka.]

Whoa!

[maddogscientist]

Not any that aren't my bazooka, anyway. I'm more an scientist than anything else.

[She can't help but be pleased by his reaction to her weapon form, though.]

Impressive, huh? Only one of these was ever made.

Huh, I see.

[He looks over the weapon. Wow.]

I can't imagine myself handling a weapon like yours. It looks so... elegant for a bazooka.

[The reflection of Momo's face on her weapon form looks like it's blushing a bit.]

But I'm not that fragile, really. It's kind of a long story, but back home I ended up going on a long journey with some friends and fighting some pretty scary monsters in the process.

Even if you don't think you'd be comfortable using me on a regular basis, though, it'd be useful to know if we can resonate in case of emergencies, right?

Yeah... you really do. I've never seen a bazooka like yours before! Well then, wanna try resonatin' now?

[He reaches out to take Momo-- at first, he wants to be delicate with her, to handle her with care, but he reminds himself that she's not fragile, so he can handle her like a typical bazooka.]

[Momo was still getting used picked up and held like a normal object by people, and she was a little amused by Leon's initial tentativeness, but once he had a firm hold on her she began to pick up on his wavelength. It definitely felt different than resonating with Michelle had - it definitely felt like they contrasted more - but she didn't think it was a bad difference.]

I'm not feeling too heavy or hot to the touch, right?

[Leon lightly patted the barrel. It felt... alright, really.]

Huh. It doesn't feel bad at all, Momo. I mean, I've always expected bazookas to have some kinda weight but... wow. Is this how the resonance thing really works? It feels... better than handlin' a real one on the field!

[maddogscientist]

That's right. The better the resonance between Meister and Weapon, the easier it is for them to weild the Weapon, and vice versa. At least that's what I've been told.

Do you want to try shooting something now?

Awesome. Alright, let's try it out!

[He looks around for something he could target with the bazooka.]

Have you tried this resonance stuff before?

Just once, with another Meister who was interested in using firearms. It doesn't seem too tough to get the hang of the basics, though. Or maybe I'm just easy to get along with.
