On a kishin egg hunt~
Characters: Raenef [mock_me_vermin] & Yuuri Shibuya [a_r0yal_flush]

Rating: Uh, PG at first, might get higher since they are after kishin eggs?

Description: Raenef was asked to accompany Yuuri on a mission. Of course he accepts, so off they go~
Raenef was still amazed and excited at all the travelling some did with their missions. Sure, the purpose was not always the most cheerful or safe, but. They still got to travel and see the world as Meisters and Weapons. They were so lucky. Back home, the most Raenef knew was an escape route from anywhere in the city he grew up in as an orphan in the thieves guild and the castle he inherited under the Raenef name once Eclipse found him. He couldn't help being in awe at the coast. Waves. The ocean. The beach. Of course, they weren't here to admire the scenery, but he couldn't help it. After a few minutes, however, he turned to the task at hand.
"So the kishin egg is supposed to have...green skin, long hair and webbed claws. Hm. Well, it shouldn't be too hard, because it's us, right, Yuuri?" he quipped cheerfully, seeming either ignorant or confident in his and his friend's abilities. He had faith in Yuuri, even if it wasn't his usual Weapon partner, Eclipse. Yuuri wouldn't intentionally let Raenef get hurt, and Raenef would never let Yuuri get injured if he could help it. And they were good friends, so Raenef figured along the way they might at least have fun while on the mission together. He might have been a little nervous, but if he was he wasn't showing it to his friend. A lot of the partners went on missions all the time, right? And they always came back fine. There was nothing to worry about. He wouldn't let anything happen to Yuuri. His friend was counting on him here, and Eclipse was trusting that Raenef himself got back to Shibusen safe and sound. And he would. As soon as they dealt with the kishin eggs.
