The thought of an ostrich horse positively delighted the kirin, and he wondered if it resembled what his mind was attempting to supply. It was such a pity that he was unable to read their souls, he thought while 'glancing' over towards Toph.

His brows furrowed subtly when he caught a slight flicker of something green, and within moments, the kirin had opened his eyes to see just what it could have been. Sohki was greeted by nothing but the usual blurred images that were near-impossible to identify with.

Odd. He'd never experienced that before. Closing his eyes again, he reasoned that it was merely a trick of his mind wishing for something that was no longer there. Momentarily silent in thought, he was pulled from his contemplation by Mushu's words.

"Mushu, your words wound me," he said with a far-too-amused chuckle, "It's far more riviting than the dull group that I'm usually stuck with." It was always the same with the other guardians, and it had been part of the reason to why he'd left them in the first place.

Still, China's demand left the kirin amiling in amusement. "I cannot think of anyone better~"

"Giant bird that you ride around on," Toph explained. "That's all I can tell you."

She snickered at the idea of Mushu being their model. She didn't know what color he was, but she knew he was tiny. It'd be fun to see how China made that work out. "Mulan won't mind, will she?"

Sorry Sohki, but Mushu just isn't going to buy it. The little dragon raised an eyebrow when he spotted the Kirin closing his eyes. Could he even see the mess currently around them?

"Me?" Okay that really hadn't been what he expected. He grinned and shrugged, "If y'all are sure you can capture my amazing self."

"She won't mind...long as you don't tell anyone where y'all got the look from." More people were finding out and while he knew none would blab, he just had to drive it home a bit more to feel really safe.

That eye-opening-and-closing bit was a bit strange, but China didn't linger over it; he simply gave Sohki one last sizing-up glance before turning to this new 'model.'

Mushu was very tiny, in comparison. But his face fit, as long as they could properly see it--

"This means you will have to hold still, you know! And -- your ears. Try to put them forward." Yes, China was on the creative move. Don't mind if said ears get pulled on a bit, Mushu; the Nation was just darting over to do so.

"I doubt that any attempt to capture your style will ever do you justice, Mushu-kun~" Sohki replied cheerfully. He really wasn't all that much use when it came to making this outfit. Not only did he have no need for actual clothes in his original world, his only ability to see had been stripped from him the moment he'd arrived here.

"Not a word," Toph assured the tiny dragon. She'd never betray Mulan's trust like that. "Oh, yeah, Gray's still looking for you. What the heck did you do to make him so mad?"

Mushu tried to stay looking at China, since well really he was the only that could see him, but Toph's question caught his attention. "He's just sore that he can't take the heat of this place and I pointed it out ta him." Gah! He pulls his ears back out of habit when China tugged, "Hey, Sheng-baby, careful! I ain't delicate but watch the goods." He already had a hole in one ear.

Still he perked his ears up for the Spirit to get a better look at them.

"You ragged at the wrong person at last, aru...?" This was said very quietly, like a comment underbreath-- and it was one, because he was immediately turning away and starting to gather more materials for sewing right after.

They hopefully knew he wasn't being malicious, though.

Sohki chuckled lightly at the mention of Gray. He remembered well the 'information' he'd given the angered male, and it came as no surprise that the young human was still after Mushu. The way that Mushu spoke to others, was undoubtedly one of the reasons why he was so fond of the dragon.

"Come now, it should come as no surprise that our darling Mushu would do such a thing," the kirin said with an amused chuckle.
