Lunch is the nicest meal of the day

Slowly but surely, her days had begun to get busier. Foreign places grew familiar, strangers became acquaintances and gradually Chrome carved out something of a daily routine for herself. Consequently, she was spending less time at the apartment and seeing Mukuro less often. She wasn't too sure as to how she felt about that, but it left her even more grateful for days like today. A lunch date was the perfect opportunity to catch up. They would prepare a meal from the ingredients available (with help from the apartment's cookbook), dine and chat.
The day had been busy so far, full of last-minute preparations for the cruise tomorrow, but that just made it even nicer to have an hour or two purely for relaxing. Chrome smiled to herself as she took out the cookbook and opened the cupboard doors, evaluating what lay within. It was full and it looked like they would be able make whatever they chose to.
