Description: Following this thread, Rise and Gai decide to cook together! They end up cooking more than they need and decide to share their "wonderfully" hellishly spicy food with everyone else

The "Free Samples' sign caught her attention and noticing that it did in fact refer to food brought Ran Fan over to the booth. She looked at the food silently for a moment before just reaching for one of the bowls.

Gai nodded to the girl that had wandered over. "Hello! Pick anything and I hope you enjoy it! We combined our techniques to make these offerings, we being Miss Rise and myself." He pushed the bowl a little closer so that she wouldn't have to reach far at all, and waited to see what she thought of it.

She merely nodded in response, picking up the bowl. She took a spoonful out and put it in her mouth, going completely stiff after a moment with wide eyes. This was... really spicy.

She swallowed it quickly after this, looking at the contents of the bowl with a small, curious frown.

He saw the stiffness and wondered if maybe the food wasn't to her taste. They'd tried their best, but for some reason people didn't always like flavorful things. The look on her face, though, he couldn't decipher.

"...Is everything all right? You do not have food allergies, right?"

"I do not," she replied after a pause, her voice a bit softer than usual. She took another moment to consider the food before beginning to eat it it again.

This stuff really was spicy...

"Good!" Maybe they should put up some signs just in case, about food allergies, for more passers by. But he's glad to hear that she's not allergic, and since Gai hasn't met her before he can't tell that her voice is different.

"You are enjoying it? We made everything with a great amount of care."

"Er..." Enjoying wasn't exactly the word she would use, but it was free food and so far she was tolerating it so she wasn't going to stop. She glanced away and gave a small nod. "I see."

That wasn't much of an answer, but at least she didn't seem like she hated it. "Please, feel free to try anything! And we have tea to drink as well if you would like that. Oh! And I am Gai. I am sorry, I did not introduce myself yet."

She finished off the bowl and nodded, grabbing another one. "Ran Fan," she replied simply, blushing slightly. She took a few remarkably quick bites before adding "Tea would be good."

"It is good to meet you, Ran Fan!" He ignored the blush. Gai blushed too often for his own liking, and knew how awkward it was to have those pointed out to him. "Then tea you shall have!"

Cheerfully he pulled out one of the cups and filled it from the pitcher before handing it over. It was good to see someone enjoying the food enough to take seconds.

It didn't seem to be killing her, of course she'll take seconds! In fact, she even finishes the second bowl before taking her first drink of the tea and going for a third.
