[Definitely better than the stairs! She can also impart weapons transformation tips if required.

But in any case, she'll be hanging around once again, observing, watching the various spars taking place, maybe checking out a soul here and there, secretly entertaining herself by matching up meisters with weapons.]

Of course. [Her expression doesn't change, doesn't even go through the requisite pleasantries at the start of a conversation, and it's like she's been talking to the kid for hours, and that was just a natural segue--but she is quite happy to see Mikado doing well.]

Is it important? I am quite free at the moment.

Not so much a hacker as someone good at mining for information that might be difficult to access, but what else do you have in mind?

I-- I can do that. I can show you, if you like... and, um, it was about making technology from other worlds compatible here. N-not for all technology from anywhere, there's a lot of people from worlds with things way more advanced... and others are good at it too. But, for tech related to my world, and the technology here... I think I have a good grasp on it now. And it seems a lot of people still have trouble with their communicators when they're new, so... I could help people with that.

That is an odd offer, but greatly appreciated, nonetheless. I won't deny that the technological disparities between the different worlds stands as one of the bigger difficulties people run into in the process of adjusting. Are you saying that you'd like to work on modifying the communicators?

We don't know of any sure way of identifying meister abilities, unfortunately. It comes down to a process of trial and error and personal discovery for the meister, usually.

There is a possibility that it will be related to abilities you had back in your world. Focusing on that might help you discover it faster.

Meister. [Cannot resist correcting the strange way you pronounced the accent.] It's m-e-i-s-t-e-r. And it doesn't normally change. What might change for the meister is the soul resonance ability that he can perform with a weapon, because it is usually dependent on the weapon type and the unique nature of his resonance with his weapon.
