Jade had taken a trip to the park.

Really, it was about time; she missed the feeling of being surrounded by life, which was missing in this desert city. Trees and grass seemed like a rare commodity here, which hurt her more than she cared to admit. Where was the nature? But on the way back she had decided to take a longer route, meandering through the city.

She stopped in front of the clinic, looking up at it. It didn't look like a place that she really wanted to visit any time soon. Somehow, it reminded her of sad things. She looked away, trying to find something else to wander around and stare at, when she saw Winry.

"Hello!"

There was a face she didn't recognize. It simultaneously brought a sense of relief and wariness in her. Relief because it meant maybe she wasn't as familiar with this place as she thought she was becoming. Familiarity gave her a feeling of being 'stuck' which she knew made no sense, what difference did her knowledge of this place and all its people really make? And wariness because, well, she was just wary about everyone at this point. After listening to the advice of China, Kanda, and Spirit she was trying to let go of that since she knew she wouldn't be able to find a partner otherwise but it was easier said than done.

She drew her hand up in a small wave. "Hey there."

Jade was finding it hard to grasp the idea of living in a town filled with people. This kind of thing was nonexistent at home, where she and her dog where the only living beings on their island. While being in a busy city was somewhat fun, she still found the lack of recognition disconcerting.

"Um...what's this building?" It was an obvious question, she knew, but Jade figured it couldn't hurt anything.

Winry knocked on the wall of Deadly Trinkets behind her.

"This is my workshop. It's where I do repairs, invent or make automail. I haven't had much chance to put it to good use until now though, so there isn't too much just yet."

Amongst the crowd, amongst the people blazing by in this blazing weather, there was one little girl who was moving with a destination clear in her mind. Winry's workshop, where she had been only a day or two earlier. Her arm was finally repaired and in working order, moving as naturally as her other arm. Perhaps even better than before! It was definitely shinier, but then again she wasn't really used to her arm not having flesh over it. Apparently Winry didn't know how to do that, but Luki didn't complain. She didn't mind, not when she was so very excited over the fact that it was working again.

So, here she was, running through the crowd, dressed in a small, simple pink dress that fell to just above her knees. She was wearing sandals with small panda heads decorating the toe straps with a matching hair clip holding her hair (which had grown a lot since she arrived) out of her face. She also had a small backpack that matched the rest, being a circular panda-face that was clearly full of something. Her eyes are wide as she ducks ( ... )

"Wow!" Winry manages to catch the girl but stumbles back and looks down, for a moment not completely sure what it was that she was holding. Something pink and black and fril--oh. It was Luki. Winry was far from use to how cuddly the girl could be, but given she was only a child she wasn't as bothered by it as she might otherwise be.

"Um, hi Luki! It's nice to see you again, what brings you here?"

Luki's cuddly side was generally more widely accepted and preferred to her psychotic side. She kept her arms wrapped around Winry's legs, trapping her in place muwahahahaha as she looks up at the blonde. She has a big smile on her face, as usual.

"I brought you candy!" she exclaims, before releasing Winry and backing up a bit. She slides the little panda-pack from around her shoulders and unzips the top to reveal that it's stuffed with candy! She offers the sweets to Winry! This might have been Rise's suggestion maybe.

She shifts a bit, trying to free her legs but she's afraid of tripping or accidentally kicking Luki in the process. Not that the girl wouldn't be able to brush it off easily. She was made of some tough stuff indeed, but it still wouldn't be right.

Thankfully Luki lets go on her own and admittedly at the mention of candy, Winry's interest was piqued. It wasn't something she really like others knowing but she did have a bit of a sweet tooth.

The Horrorspital was a place that Maya had become...rather morbidly used to during her stay here in Death City. Having visited here EVERY SINGLE DAY so far, she knew the route by heart, and was trotting up to its doors rather absentmindedly when a certain building and a certain blonde catch her eye. Doesn't she know this chick from somewhere...?

So here, Winry, have a short little nineteen-year-old peering curiously over your shoulder. "Is that a motorcycle?!"

Winry had sunk into a bit of a reverie, so when she heard Maya's voice she started a bit. It took a moment for her to grasp the question she had been asked so she just kind of started for a moment before it clicked.

"Oh! Uh, yea," she looked inside, nodding. The motorcycle was still far from complete but its frame made it very obvious what it was, "just something I've been working on. Want to see...Maya, right?" Maya was the first medium Winry had ever met, and she kind of stood out in those clothes. Even if they had only conversed once, for those reasons she wasn't a very easy person to forget.

Roy turned up very late into the afternoon - from the looks of it, he had been on the road for quite some time. The alchemist came down the street, pushing his bike along.

"Miss Rockbell."

In spite of the obvious exhaustion, he still managed his usual smile and greeting.

Roy had mentioned he had a bike, but she was still surprised to see it herself. It was a rather impressive sight, Winry had to admit that Roy sure knew how to pick them.

"Mustang, sir. Is that her? You sure found a good one." She also recalled he had mentioned that it seemed to be having trouble, so she turned her attention towards it once more, trying to see if she could discern what the problem might be.

"You think so? I'm rather proud of her myself."

Roy wheeled it over, where it would be easy for Winry to do her thing. He moved back towards the entrance of the garage, though, where he could enjoy a cigarette and talk to his companion without bothering her with the smoke.

"She won't start - or more like, she's fickle. Sometimes she will, sometimes she won't."

Even if she was feeling in a bit of a slump, Winry was still pretty happy to be able to do something for a friend, and who knew. Maybe looking at this one would give her more inspiration for her own bike. She placed a hand on the seat to steady it and then knelt down, beginning her examination.

"How long have you had her? And how often do you use her?"
