Description: Seven gates is two too many. Two months isn't much better.
It wasn't an unusual sight to see Rock Lee running down Death City's streets. He made a habit of it, after all- running for training, running to get places, and occasionally running solely because it was glorious to run, to feel the stretch and burn of his muscles and see just how fast he could go. What was unusual was seeing him going quite this quickly, but then, for all his bright energy, Lee was rarely quite this excited.
Gai-sensei was in Death City.
The Chuunin burst into the clinic with little regard for the people still recovering within its walls and skidded to a halt in response to a sharp glare. His cheeks flushed and he dipped his head, but his pace was noticeably slowly- merely a brisk walk- as he continued through the clinic. All of the control displayed by that sedate pace was swept away, though, when Lee saw his teacher in the flesh. He launched himself at the older man without thinking, squeezing Gai's ribs in a hug hard enough to make bones creak. "Gai-sensei!!!"
