Sometimes, Katsura just forgot how long seven flights of stairs could be. He had found his money in a short while, but appearances were appearances and he decided that he had to look presentable before he could go out. That had taken him a longer time than expected, and Katsura wasn't surprised to see that Toph was already there. He allowed himself to smile a bit as he watched a rock fly; certainly, there couldn't be many people waiting for someone else.

"Toph-san, I am sorry to have kept you waiting!"

Toph turned towards Katsura's voice. She waved at him.

"It's cool. What took you so long?" She kicked another rock. It was as close to Earthbending as she could get right now, and it sucked.

Katsura noted Toph's repeated action; she may have sounded annoyed, but not too annoyed as to victimize two rocks in the course of a few minutes.

"Though I'm used to running, it still takes some time for me to run down seven flights of stairs," he replied.

If he thought that was victimizing rocks, he shouldn't watch her 'bend. She winced when he told her how many flights of stairs he had to go down.

"Geez, I thought only really fancy temples had than many floors," she muttered. "You ready to go?
