Colette stumbled a couple of times on her way to the Communal. She knew it might be a little dangerous to rush there from the Heights apartments, but there was not another option she could think of. If Lloyd came to hear he could easily get lost, when he had only just arrived and all. So there was nothing for it but her to go to him instead.

Lloyd. He was really here. Her best friend. Who had done so much, helped her so much along the way with her Journey. Her boots stomped harder and faster along the cobblestone streets until she stopped at the entrance of Casualty to catch her breath for a moment, hands on her knees before she straightened and continued. Inside, she tripped over the rug, her arms flailing a little before she stood, looking and immediately spotting the all-too-familiar red with the brown, spikey hair. "Lloyd!" she beamed, not noticing her eyes getting a little moist at the sight, running to his side.

Lloyd knew she was there the second he noticed someone on the verge of falling out of the corner of his eye. He looked worried for a moment, but it looked like she managed to catch herself this time.

"Hey, Colette!" he replied with a grin.

Colette started to slow herself a little more as she approached him, her arms a little outstretched as she reached for his arm to stop and righten herself. "Lloyd....you're really...you're really here...." And she could talk to him. Actually talk. Not like her last conversation with him, which had been more telepathic or through writing on his hand to express her ideas and thoughts and input to the rest of the group, or Lloyd himself once she had lost her voice.

"I missed you." She still wasn't sure if she was more nervous or happy about Lloyd being here as well, but that much at least, was the honest truth. She had missed him.

He was pretty confused by this but his concern over her strange behavior overrode this on his face as he looked down at her. "Uh, yeah, I'm here. Is everything okay, Colette?"

"Yes. I just wasn't sure if anyone else from home would come here too, or if it was just me. I've been here a while now, since the 24th of August myself. So...so it's good to see you again, Lloyd. And I can talk now, see!" Always one to look on the positive side of things, after all, even if Colette was still a little conflicted about that issue and what it would mean when she was returned home.

"But, ah, you have your room here, right? We should head there and catch up, okay?"

"Wait, you...?"

To say Lloyd was lost would be an understatement. There was so much that just wasn't adding up to him and he wasn't quite sure where (or if) he should start. She'd been able to talk for a while now so he wasn't sure why she was making such a big deal out of it again all of a sudden. However, he grins again and retries his answer.

"Right! I managed to find one all the way on the top!" He was almost too enthusiastic when he said this. Clearly seeing a building this tall was very impressive to him.

His smile falters a bit as he adds, "What day is it today, anyway?"

Colette tilted her head questioningly at the initial question but let it slide. There would be plenty of time to discuss things once they were in his rooms, after all. She smiled at his enthusiasm being on the top floor.

"The top? My, that is quite a way, isn't it. But at least we'll get plenty of exercise. Ah, it's the 21st of September. So it has been almost a month for me." Colette explained softly, her head bowing slightly as she turned it a little to the side.

"What?!" Lloyd exclaimed, his shock very visible. "Wait, that doesn't make any sense. I saw you just before I woke up here!"

"It's....people are pulled from different times, Lloyd. You might be from after or before I remember being pulled here to Death City by BREW. But, it's best if we talk about it up in your room, right?" She tried to give a reassuring smile at that, "I'll explain there."

She knew it must be confusing for him, remembering her own arrival and shock and (remaining) confliction on her Angel powers and status here.

Lloyd was pretty clearly still completely lost on how this could possibly be true, but he managed to nod. "Right. Let's head up there now, then."

He makes his way to the stairs with that. He really wanted an explanation for this on top of the other questions he'd had before all of this came up. This place was just getting more and more confusing.

"Right!" Colette gave a nod and followed him to the stairs, starting on foot before reverting to her wings after a brief pause to catch her breath, hovering a little the rest of the way until they reached the top at last.

"Which number was your room? You said it's up the top here, right?" she asked, eyeing the rooms nearer them from the stairwell to find Lloyd's rooms.

Lloyd didn't seem to be having much trouble with the climb, though he paused when she needed to take a break.

"Yeah, 13 F!" he replied, pointing toward the door as he continued to approach it. "It's right over here."

"13 F, right! So it's over here!" She exclaimed, wings fading as quickly as they had appeared as she got to the landing, making her way down the corridor and keeping an eye out for the mentioned apartment, pausing once she gets to it. "Here, Lloyd!"

"Yep, that's it!" he replied with a small laugh. He opened the door immediately upon reaching it. He began to walk inside, turning toward Colette and gesturing inside. "Come on!"

Colette gave a nod and followed inside, moving to sit at the lounge on the sofa, toying with her necklace absently as she waited for Lloyd to join her, trying to think of where to start, how much Lloyd would know from the tour and arrival, and whether he recalled more or less of the journey than herself. A lot would depend on that, she decided.

"...Lloyd, first of all, what...what do you remember, from home?

Lloyd closed the door and made his way in, plopping down on the other side of the sofa. He looked a bit confused for a few moments. She had said something about different times before, right?

"You mean like what was going on? Kuchinawa and some of the Pope's soldiers attacked us at that Otherworldly Gate thing. Everybody ran into it when it opened and... uh, I guess it sent me here instead."
