Laura wandered in sometime later, poise relaxed but eyes roaming the area as she came around. The girl had occupied herself in as much as possible with classes and the other activities offered by this strange place she had been transported to, learning as much as she could about the situation.

Admittedly, though, she was almost looking forward to seeing what might happen with this "training" session.

When Laura came onto the grounds, Ping had a mixture of feelings. He had never trained with a woman before, unless, if by some ironic means others in the military had taken a leaf out of his book. Either way she wasn't aware he had, and the much different role that women seem to have here was incredibly baffling.

He was happy to see that they could fight as they were, without need for disguise or fear of what others would think. He was happy that he could train with her, and neither be looked down upon.

...at the same time. There was something that just kept nagging at him. There was something that always nagged at him when he talked or interacted with girls. He never really had to since he donned the disguise and it just felt strange doing so here. Maybe it was because he felt they were more likely to see through the disguise, or he felt worse about deceiving them. He wasn't sure.

Regardless, now was not the time to be rude so he head on over to her and gave a bow. "Hello. You are here to train, yes?"

Laura noted the other's approach some time before he came forward, and blinked when he bowed...

...Wait. There was something... strange about this one. The girl blinked again, trying to place what it was. Her expression, however, remained smooth and neutral, disclosing nothing of her thoughts.

"Yes."

Ping smiled and held out a hand to shake. The voice was familiar so he knew that it was one of the people whom he had talked to the previous day. Unfortunately it seemed he had forgotten his manners.

"My named is Fa Ping. Or just Ping," It seemed that in this place people were use to giving their names backwards, so many confused his family name for his birth name, "please forgive my terrible manners. I never introduced myself before, nor asked your name."

Laura gave a curt nod in return, and, upon deciding that this Fa Ping person was likely not a threat for the moment, the girl reached out and shook his(...?) hand.

"I am Laura Kinney."

"Laura," Ping tested it out. Strange name, but rather pleasant, "it is good to meet you."

He let go of her hand and indicated the grounds which only contained a handful of people who were mostly doing exercise. "Not many showed up, unfortunately, but we shall be find. Tell me, Laura. Have you had training of any kind before?"

"I have. I was an operative for an organization."

...No fond memories of that one, really, but things were as they were.

Ping honestly wasn't sure what that meant. An operative for an organization? It made him incredibly curious but even he could tell enough to sense that it wasn't a pleasant topic so he just nodded, giving what he hoped was a comforting smile.

"Well we can start with whatever you wish. Germany and I practiced working together as Weapon and Meister. You said you were a Weapon as well, yes? If you wish, we could do that. Or we could learn of one another's methods of combat?

"Both seem like suitable options."

Laura was fine with starting on either. Fa Ping seemed to know what he was talking about, and she determined that she could probably put his knowledge to good use in the future.

"Then shall we try the former?" Ping was quite curious to know what sort of Weapon Laura was. He still didn't entirely understand quite how it worked, or if it was significant the Weapon a person turned into. Did it say something of their character? Or was it simply a matter of chance?

Either way, he had already come to know of a new kind of Weapon through Germany. Perhaps the same would happen with Laura.

Another nod.

"Suitable."

The girl considered things for a moment, and then breathed out. In a flash of light, she shifted into a pair of deceptively slender-looking gloves, held together by a chain near the wrist portion.
