Description: It's hard to blame the worst kind of intrusions on the Madness Wave, and Rhode is running out of ideas on how to avoid or mend the damage she's caused.

She came skulking back into the apartment reluctantly, driven indoors by heat and a bit of sunsickness; never the sensible one, Rhode hadn't realized how bad this weather would be without water, but doing her best to avoid coming home during the daylight hours had certainly taken a toll on her. Still weak, still human, and now feeling hot and thirsty, the girl managed to get herself a glass of water before making her way to the couch.

Shoes and socks were taken off before she lay back against the corner of the sofa, sipping slowly at her water and keeping an eye out for her partner. She didn't really want to talk to him, though it was more for her own comfort than for anything he had done. Since the other day, Rhode had been waiting for some sign that he'd forgotten about the incident entirely, that he'd forgiven her the way he was supposed to. But he still seemed distant, and she still felt like a poorly-behaved mongrel whenever he smiled at her. Not to mention the nightmares she'd had, since seeing the things within his memories...

Shaking her head, she dipped her fingers into the water, dabbing it on her forehead in a shortlived attempt to cool herself down. The nightmares were par for the course, with her abilities. Mentioning it to Mukuro, after the way he had reacted to her intrusion in the first place, would have been a very bad idea.
