The thing was... the thing was Hani had to wake up at five to be at training at six. Five. That was three hours short of his usual wake up hour. Hani was not happy that morning. He might have dented a cabinet and some spoons while having breakfast, while resisting the urge to nod off into his bowl of cereal.

By the time Hani reached the training grounds, there was a thick, ominous, deadly cloud of darkness hanging around him.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka was fast approaching levels of pissed that usually left craters and giant, pink smoke bunnies behind.

"Gn."

And Germany was right there, working as usual, tapping out something on the clipboard with his pencil (the pencils here were American, so unreliable). He only looked up at the child wandering into the training grounds and recognized him from the network.

"Ah, you made it," he remarked.

Hani didn't say anything. It wasn't for the dramatic effect that his glare alone produced. Mind, it was fairly dramatic considering the grass itself seemed to be wilting. But honestly, he didn't speak because he wasn't read to be articulate yet.

That glare was eloquent enough, though. It went along the lines of die.

Germany was, for better or for worse, fairly dense when it came to these things. The glare went over his head, though he wondered why the grass did not seem healthy anymore.
