Description: Thanks to Euphie, Jiro has found himself taking in a stray cat. But while Jiro doesn't need food, cats do. Jiro tries to get some, but he's never bought anything before. Spanner saves the day! Or something.
He'd left the cat in his apartment. He felt a little bad for leaving him alone, and he wasn't even sure if it was a good idea to leave a cat locked up in an apartment- but it wasn't a good idea to let him starve, either. So he wandered about until he found a grocery store- Euphie had said he might find cat food in one of those- and hesitantly entered. He'd looked into stores before, but he rarely went inside; he never had a reason to.
At first he just wandered around with no real idea of where he should go. Then he started noticing the signs. Nothing with 'cat food' so far... ah. Pet supplies, that might be it, right? He looked around at the strange bags of food with pictures of cats and dogs on them. It was probably the ones with cats on them... but why were there so many different kinds? He spent some time reading the brands and labels and such before picking one that he hoped would be the right kind. And... there was the price tag, there. It didn't mean much to him, but he was pretty sure he'd brought enough with him. The only problem now was buying it.
He wandered the store some more, bag of cat food under his arm, trying to figure out just how he was supposed to buy it. Should he have left the money on the shelf? Maybe there was someone by the entrance who would take it? What if he didn't have enough...?
At a loss, he nervously tried to catch the attention of the closest person.
"Excuse me... could you help me?"
