[Last night and during the early mornings were when most of the patients came. Mostly people from the mission, but they had gotten a couple who had been caught up in the mess with the frogs. Nasty things they had been, and they left behind quite a mess.
The Clinic is a nice air conditioned place. There were several rooms for patients, each with about eight beds, but for those who were quite as injured they were allowed to go to the entrance room where there were some bookshelves, a small TV and couches for many to sit in.
Just don't try to leave before your time, you might find yourself with more injuries.]
[He's only here for the first day. Mifune is in a corner bed, sitting Indian-style on the bed with bandages all over him. The injuries are all negligible, but it's the toxin that got to him.]
[Constance is lying in the bed next to his, one arm bent above her head, pillowing it, while the other holds a book up to her face. She doesn't look up even as she speaks.]
It wasn't so bad in the end.
[Says she who got half eaten along the way, but hey, someone's gotta stay positive. How did she end up being the positive one is a bit of a mystery to be honest.]
[She let out a small sigh. She hadn't had enough time to sit down and properly miss the castle and its inhabitants. Though on the upside, there is no Mildred Hobble there, to cause a disaster and save everyone at the end of the day. Why, it's almost peaceful with her gone.]
They have enough people to coddle them, so I must provide the discipline they need to succeed.

[She believes you. Totally.]

I'm surprised you're not insisting on leaving.

[A bit of a pointed look.]
Patience, when it comes to heeling, is always well repaid.

Too crowded. And I have to find Angela.

[She's got her glare to make people leave her alone, yes.]
Your partner?

At least you keep them out.
[Hm.] No. My ward.

[She makes a thoughtful sound and takes a moment to find the right words.]
I'm sure she'll be glad to see you're alright.

[Er.] Mm. [Maybe a little embarrassed.]

[Another pause.]
Some of them... need more discipline than most.

[Not to mention the fact sometimes being mean is fun. Hush.]
