It had been quite enjoyable spending the early afternoon with Sasuke. While it might not have been quite as enjoyable for his wonderful guest, the kirin's amount of excitement definitely made up for that. It was almost a shame when his young guest had to depart, but Sohki did have a few other things that he needed to get done ( ... )

"Likewise," he said easily, tilting his head at the sight of him, curious as to how he kept his eyes closed all the time, while maneuvering with little difficulty. Still, it would be rude to ask, and he didn't, walking over to meet him instead.

"No trouble finding your way here?" He asked, nodding to him in greeting and coming to a stop in front of him, fixing a considering gaze on the man in front of him.

Sohki remained where he was as he sensed the other approaching him. Hands held together and hidden beneath the folds of material, the kirin simply smiled pleasantly while he associated the scent with this particular one.

"I had to stop and ask for directions once or twice, but it was of no inconvenience to myself. The locals here were quite happy to aid one such as myself~" He said. His eyes remained closed despite feeling the weight of his tea companion's gaze on him. Tilting his head subtly to one side, the kirin asked, "Is there something I can help you with?"

"I'm sorry I didn't offer to walk you from where you came from. It would have made things easier," he told him, brows furrowing slightly as he regarded him. He nodded again, drawing his own conclusions before turning towards the hall back to his apartment.

He blinked at his questions, glancing up at him. Curious. And here he'd assumed he couldn't see. "I didn't ask your name earlier. If you could tell me, I'd appreciate it," he told him, starting towards his apartment, listening to make sure Sohki followed after.

"I'm surprised that we have souls," he replied without a hitch from the small kitchen, his voice toneless as he considered the notion. Setting the water to boil, he came out with the empty tea pot in hand, walking over to the where the man was sitting.

The nation set it down in front of Sohki, glancing at the jar as he uncapped the tea pot. "A country is made up not only of the land, but also the people and culture that inhabit it. We're composed of many souls. That's why it's odd to be recognized as having just one," he told him simply as he opened the jar, shaking a few leaves into the pot, careful not to spill.

He didn't take too close a look at what tea Sohki had brought over. If the man had the decency to bring it, then Hong Kong would drink it, so long as it wasn't laced with anything or rotten. The unlikeliness that someone would carry mediocre leaves with them when visiting the house of a stranger was a plus as well.

Sohki listened quietly to the words Hong Kong spoke. There were some valid points there, yes, and he knew well the influence humans had even of creatures like himself. Yet that would hardly stop him from bantering.

"Erase the people and the culture from your lands, and you will still have a soul within you regardless," The kirin counted playfully before adding, "Unless, of course, you're trying to tell me that by coming here you've taken the souls of everyone within Hong Kong?"

He meant nothing by his question even if some may have seen it as hostile, but the kirin couldn't help but try and banter as he resealed the jar. It would take a few minutes to properly steep the tea, and until then he would be rather interested in getting to know the city.
