Description: A remnant from the future has arrived, and Cloud wants to have some answers about it. He's tired of being confused.
The late night had turned into an even later night getting into his own bed. He was only slightly tired when he finally returned to his own room for the remainder of morning hours, and he had hardly noticed that he hadn't been alone. The fact that Sephiroth had come and remained overnight in his place instead of the assigned room that the ex-General had been given wasn't entirely a surprise. He didn't know how long Sephiroth had stood looming against one of the walls, but he suspected that it was a little while.
Still, the wee hours of the morning had been a blur of sleeping that he wasn't about to relive. No, the rise of the sun came quickly as well, and he supposed that he should have just stayed up for the rest of the morning instead of making an attempt to play catch-up. He was paying for that as he blinked awake and crawled out from under the covers away from the other lump in the bed to head for the shower.
He was certain that the flow of hot water would make him feel awake and less zombie-like. It did, which was nice as he stood under the flow of water and washed up the grime from the day before. He didn't have to worry about bed-head since he was genetically blessed to have it at all times, which made mornings far easier to deal with.
Of course being awake meant that his mind delved into the considerable amount of confusion that had been piled up from the day before. He had no idea what his future would bring, not after he had seen another walking and talking person from a time he knew nothing about. Who and what was Kadaj? He had defeated Sephiroth again the his future, but he knew nothing about the lead up and the context except that a disease called Geostigma arrived after they had saved the planet. It apparently went after people with JENOVA cells, but other than that, he knew nothing of what his future became.
Stepping out of the shower, he dried himself off and stepped from the bathroom wearing only a pair of pants. He needed Sephiroth's approval - apparently - in order to keep the bandage from his left arm. He knew the ex-General would be up if he was, so he walked towards the bedroom expecting to see the silver-haired man there.
