"No!" was the resounding reply. Why did Stein say such creepy things sometimes? Spirit involuntarily curled his toes against the fluffy carpet, mentally counting if they were all still there. He slept like the dead these days, Stein wouldn't have any problems nicking one or two toes for whatever thing he needed them for.

"Thanks." But that was fast coffee… "Were you waiting for me?" he asked mildly warily, but gratefully taking the coffee and taking a sip. When you were the deathscythe, your mouth was also less likely to scald. He sighed as the liquid went down to his stomach and stayed there (dinner, dinner, he should go eat something).
