Nanako peered around a corner, giving him a small wave. It was strange living with someone else that wasn't her father or her cousin, but now, she had a family of four. There was still a level of distance that hadn't been broken yet, but Nanako was willing to try, at least.

"Welcome back!"

Suffice to say, Nanako definitely wasn't the only one who was getting over the strangeness of... well, everything. Thankfully, it didn't show in the smile Roy offered to the girl once she came into sight.

"I'm ready to go when you are."

She nodded, quickly running off to tell whoever was in the household goodbye and grabbed her wallet on the way out.

"I'm sorry you have to come along...but thanks."

Roy held the door open for her, and shut it behind the both of them. A moment's hesitance when they were at the stairwell, and then he quietly offered his hand.
