Boston and New York

Jun 12, 2006 15:49

Evan and I returned from Boston just over a week ago now. I've had no time to do anything thanks to work, and trying to plan out what is going to happen this year.
So many big decisions.
Here is my picture post from our trip!!!

We are in Maine at a restaurant. You can kind of see my cute nose ring which is now gone unfortunately :'o(

This is the vacation home of President Bush Sr. In Maine. Good thing I have zoom. We couldn't get close to it at all thanks to security and stuff.

Salem Bus parking spot. If you're wondering what that image on the top is it's a:

Witch.. that's right. Salem is the town where they hung all those witches in the 1600s.

We visted this museum. They had show that explained everything that happened and stuff. I was expecting it to be better, but it was informative at least. Lots of witches.

I think this was in.. umm New Hampshire possibly. It was a memorial for all the fishermen who died at sea. There were some crazy storms on some years that killed hundreds at once. Other years like 2 died. Interesting to see.

You look gooooooooood!

This is called the "Wedding Cake House". Totally cool looking. This was in Newburyport, about 10min away from Georgetown, MA where we were staying.

Most of the houses look like this in Massechusetts. No joke.

Evan infront of Condom World in Boston. They had an amazing selection of condoms.

Our first time in the Atlantic Ocean!!!! It was a beautiful beach. Soo very cold that day. Especially standing in the icy water.

It stretched on and on like that.

This was our first hostel room... it was soo tiny! And it had mice haha. But 30seconds away from Times square, so we didn't care.

Times Square the day we arrived. Overwhelming.

Evan and in Times Square at night. Sadly the picture he took of me in the same position sucked.

This is a ferris wheel inside Toys'r'us in Times Square. I wanted to ride it, but it cost money :o(

It's growing out of my head! What a bad picture.

Statue of Liberty from the Ferry. I have like 10 different angles of the statue.. it's pathetic. That guy kind of looks like Haney.hmm.

The Statue of Liberty was fun. We got burnt that day.

Lower Manhattan from the Ferry.

That same day I got jumped over by a street performer. They kept making jokes about us not yelling "black guys" when they told us to..  I guess you had to be there.
Basically everyone was a tourist and afraid.

Crazy performer in Central park. According to him he had the "voice of god". He sang one man operas. Both parts, male and female. It was honestly the oddest thing I've seen.

Empire State building from a distance.

Looking straight up at the Empire State building. You'll notice in both pictures (taken within 30min) that the weather changes drastically there. They say in New England that if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. It was worse than out here! It was nice out and I was wearing capris and sandals, and then all of the sudden after this it started raining. Stupid weather.

It got nice enough for us to go back to the beach in our bathing suites. This is back in Massechusetts.

So Evan doesn't have to be alone in his bathing suite. The new one I bought for like $15 at Old Navy.
Shopping was so friggen amazing.
I have movies and stuff that i'll post later perhaps.

It was a pretty awesome trip.
