Hay, I'm on the way out to uni, but I just want to mention quickly I'm planning to grab the el cheapo 4-pack (four copies for the price of less than four copies) deal for both Borderlands AND Left4Dead2, IF I can get enough interested folks from among my peers to make it worthwhile.

The cost price analysis is that it's a 25% discount, on top of the fact that Steam's pre-order price for Left 4 Dead is a 10% discount from purchases post-launch. So for reference:
US$50 if you buy it later.
US$45 if you pre-order it now on your own
US$34 if you can get three other peeps to pre-order it with you.
So you save like US$16 from the standard price, and US$11 from the preorder price. Bam. PLUS the Australian dollar is currently US$0.91! So you would in effect be paying A$37.
Also, we now have a four-man for Borderlands, but we need a purchaser. I can't do it, as I have no ability whatsoever to buy shit online. :( Volunteers? Also, don't take this to mean Borderlands is closed - it's not impossible we could get eight interested parties, so pipe up.

Sorry I've been slack with this, I've been reduced to dialup. We need ONE MOAR person, and we can get get two lots of L4D2, once the fence-sitters stop their Swiss-like wussy "cautious consumer" bollocks...so keep an eye out for friends and family members with an interest.DISREGARD THAT I SUCKS COCKS
Ok, so we've got a total of eight interested parties so far, with some people holding off on purchasing until they can be sure Australia isn't going to gorge itself on the piss and scat of the right-wing social conservatives and tell us adults how we're allowed to harmlessly entertain ourselves in the privacy of our own homes in between discussions about politics, ethics and comparative religion. I know I feel much safer for their protecting me from myself...but I digress.
I've suggested one possible group of four in the comments below, so please people...weigh the fuck in, and spread the word. I'll try to keep this post updated, so don't be shy, ask people to get in on this, and ffs where the hell is Pike? I thought he was cool.

Francis has purchased one load of Borderlands, and is owed approx. $38 by myself, Julie and Tim, if memory serves. Also Neb has purchased a load of L4D2, and is owed approx. $40 by myself, Luke and Julie.
