We were talking about a tailored curriculum for a degree in the office. And someone wondered what a degree curriculum tailored for someone who wanted to take over the world would look like.
I'd say...
BSc World Domination
Government Studies - Because it is important to know what to do with the world AFTER taking over it. Unlike past tyrants who just let the place run amok and ended up with their heads chopped off.
Political Science - You'll want to know how to deal with your underlings as well as enemies.
Literature/Philosophy - You'll want to be able to make effective propoganda as well as learn from mistakes of the past and re-construct a society so people will be happy and happy people don't depose tyrants.
Nucleur(?) Physics - DUH.
Biosciences - erm, well, you DO need to take over the world. Nothing like a widespread epidemic to get a head start.
Public Speaking / Media and Communications - Because everyone loves a charismastic leader. Also, you will need to learn to create a good PR image of yourself so no one thinks of you as a tyrant even though you REALLY ARE ONE.
Four years and much hard work later, you would be ALL ready to take over the world. Provided you don't turn out like majority of the NUS bachelor degree holders who have over worked and relied too much on memorization that they are little more good than Zombies.
