Death City is in the middle of a desert - but as you may have gathered, there's also the slight issue that we are in the middle of a war.

Does the contract bind us to Shibusen permanently?

No.

The contract only binds you as a student of Shibusen until the war is over, or we're able to send you home. I'm hoping for a combination of the two.
