[The video feed shows a young man looking at the device he’s holding with curiosity. He’s wearing a white helmet with light blue circuits on it and matching armor.]
Greetings, users! [He smiles lopsidedly. Ram still can’t believe that this is real.] I don’t know what I was expecting to happen when I got derezzed but it certainly wasn’t something like this place. [He doesn’t seem bothered by it, though.]
I’ve been a weapon before, just not like this. They didn't expect me to last on the game grid but I did. The Master Control Program called me naïve for believing in the users, but I was right. I was right. Just look at all of you. It was something worth dying for.
[He pauses; a sad smile on his lips, but the look is gone in seconds.]
Anyway, from what I can gather witches are like some sort of virus and Kishin are like infected programs. Viruses tried to infect the system where I come from too, I don’t blame you for wanting to get rid of them. [Ram pauses, looks around for a moment and then back at the camera.]
Is all that radiation normal? [He waves a hand around, as if to indicate the sunlight.] It looks like this place is about to overload in the next nanosecond. [He smiles once more, softly this time.] But it’s an impressive view. I haven’t seen so many colors in all my cycles of life.
