003: VIDEO; Dec. 5 - MORNING
[There’s a lot of anxiety mixed in with the prolonged silence. Though, Lucy has the words all planned up in her head, they can’t seem to construct proper sentences. ‘This’ doesn’t seem to go with ‘that’ and everything begins to appear like a lost cause, but despite it all: she decides to soldier on.
And with a deep breath, she starts.] Though, this may seem like a stupid request. [She shakes her head a little.] No, it really is a stupid request. There’s no arguing that. [She makes a face. Specifically, one of mild distaste, but that's nothing new.]
But, I’d really appreciate it if someone could tell me where to find an extremely large vacuum. You know, one that looks almost …ride-able. Plus, if any of you know how to ride one, maybe you could show me how it’s done. You know, teach me the ropes! [Because that just sounds soooo plausible, right?]
Though, if you can’t answer that, if you could just direct me to someone named “Near,” then I’d be eternally grateful! [And as if on cue, she smiles a little here.]
